Never again
No elevator. No water anywhere in the apartment so we couldn’t shower nor brush our teeth. Terrible!

A good location but a dull apartment
The booking and checking-in process was very complicated. We received several SMS that looked like fraud and that had links that did not work. Then I had to download photos of myself with ID, then we had trouble actually finding where the apartment was in the courtyard. And there was no elevator (it was mentioned in Booking, but I had not noticed). The apartment was fine, not particularly well-decorated, very cold-looking (white and black decoration). The location, on the ogther hand, was very good. There is a bar downstairs, which might bring noise in summer, but in early March everything was quiet at night. Four days after checking out, I still have not received the refund for my deposit, even though we left the place in perfect condition.

Excellent downtown location
We stayed at the Stanley Court for 4 nights and would definitely go there again the next time we’re in Montreal. The building is very old but the appartment was recently renovated with new floors, updated bathroom and fresh paint throughout. It was also very clean (which is our main concern) and was comfortably furnished. The kitchen cupboards contained the basic necessities, glasses, plates etc. but we did not cook any meals except for making coffee in the morning so I can’t comment on the quality of the cookware. The location is fabulous if you want to be at the centre of the city… 5-7 minute walk to the Bell Centre and the shopping district.

Poor
Upon arriving we had to use three different codes to get to our apartment. I loved the extra security restricting who gets in. This part was definitely my fault as I did not read correctly but I give the apartment kudos for, there is no AC. When we first walked in it was 29 degrees inside the apartment. Thank goodness they provided a fan and a little AC unit so by the end of the three days we were able to get it down to 23.5 degrees. Now for the not so great... the couch had white stains all over it. Not sure what they were and do not think I want to know but a little gross. Under the extra health and safety measures it stated that "all plates, cutlery, glasses and other tableware have been sanitized" meanwhile many of our dishes and cookware had food caked onto it. We had to go through and wash everything we wanted to use before touching anything. In the bathroom the shelf on top of the toilet was falling out of the wall making it unusable. The shower... there was hair all over the wall I assume from the last visitors. The shower hardly worked, the pressure was a joke so I could not wash my hair the whole trip as it is long. There was only one temperature for the shower which was burning hot. When we contacted support for this we were told that it was a holiday so we would have to wait for the next day. The next day they sent someone but all she did was gather the info from us and leave. She did not come in and look at the shower so again we were stuck with low pressure and burning hot water. There was also water damage on the ceiling in the shower so the paint was chipping off. The fan in the bathroom had a thick layer of dust that had been building up for a while. After using the duster to clean it off I grabbed the vacuum and it did not work, leaving dust all over the floor. The bed only had 3 thin sheets with a thin quilt in between, no larger blanket. Was not impressed and will not be coming back to this apartment.

Highly Disappointed
The pics looked modern, clean & comfortable on the website. The people over the phones who assist you are extremely helpful and friendly! The suite itself was conveniently located to where I needed to go, necessities in the area are also convenient since it’s in the downtown area. The cons for me—too many access codes to have issues with (which I did), no actual human person to help you or advise you on the room or area. My room had no water pressure in the shower with ZERO hot water for my entire stay of 2 days. I was not able to shower. There was a weird door that was unlocked and led to a back hallway which was unsettling. It wasn’t hung properly so you could push/pull the door back and forth and it moved. Easily could’ve been broken into. No lock on the bedroom door either. Poor renovation quality throughout the suite. Cheap, and fixtures hanging on for dear life Temperature too warm in the suite and when I adjusted it on the thermostat it would always end up back where it was within minutes. No cooling came on. No elevator. 3rd floor and dragging my heavy suitcases upstairs with a bad wrist/forearm. Not ideal for people with a disability or physical challenge The unmistakable LOUD noises that woke me up several times coming from the alley was jarring! Garbage trucks, city services for the buildings in the area, not entirely sure but it was unbelievable. I sleep with ear plugs and take sleeping meds and I don’t wake easily. Between 3:15-4:45 am it was VERY disturbing! I could always hear the din of people talking on their phones or to others in their suites. One morning at 3:30 am while getting ready to catch my cab to airport I heard an entire conversation from my Neighbor which I did not care to hear. Poor privacy The bathroom light was burnt out over the bathroom sink where you need it most when getting ready in the dark. Couldn’t watch the tv in the bedroom which sucked. Overall not worth it one bit. Stay somewhere with services you will use.

- Never again, the room smelled like cigarettes when I walked in the windows were opened to clear the smell... - Neighbours were extremely loud couldn't fall asleep - They had a party in the block, people literally running around screaming with no masks!! I would never come back this was a horrible stay!

Terrible experience
First of all, the internet didn’t work so I had to use the data on my phone to get some work done. Secondly, there was a party in your building in one of your rooms with about 20-30 people minimum drunk and super noisy until minimum 3am. During covid. You guys take the time to send messages and clearly indicate that there are to be no guests and you check your cameras and whatnot. Yet you let people have parties until 3 am when it’s clearly illegal. It was so noisy and bothersome that I didn’t even sleep there. I had to leave in the middle of the night and rent another room somewhere else. And on top of that it’s been a week and I haven’t even received my damage deposit back. Not only will I never go back to any of your establishments. I will make sure to tell everyone who asks how terrible my experience was.

Good overall
The location is as central as can be so I could walk everywhere I had to go. Just plan $50 for cab ride from airport but once you are there you can use the metro to get where you need and there is a station next door. The apartment itself is very clean and nicely decorated, though in a little bit of a rough shape. It was still very enjoyable to be in and felt very safe. I would definitely try to book this one again if I have to go to Montreal in the future.

Great location, clean and modern apartment
I'd never noticed this location before, though I must have passed in front of it a hundred times. Getting to the apartment requires going through several security keypads (so if you're worried about security, is very safe) and some suspicious surroundings, but the moment you step into the apartment, you feel like you've found a little gem. It's modern, bright, and clean. Tote got everything you need to live, cook, sleep, at a great price. The only downside is that I heard the distant echoes of bass guitar until about 4AM, but it didn't ruin my sleep. I definitely plan on going there again.

Grosse frayeur
j'ai dû rentrer le code d'accès à l'immeuble plusieurs fois parce que le clavier de l'intercom ne fonctionnait pas correctement, j'ai bien cru que je dormirais dans la rue. Il n'y avait pas de numéro d'urgence ce samedi là en soirée pour pouvoir m'assister. Après plusieurs tentatives dans le froid hivernale, j'ai fini par pouvoir accéder à l'immeuble. Le chemin d'escalier jusqu'à l'appartement pourrait être rafraîchi, mais une belle surprise à l'intérieur du logement qui est vraiment beau, propre et spacieux. Conforme avec les photos. le lit était confortable.

Location, location, location.
Perfectly located and clean but up several flights of stairs....could be an issue, especially with luggage. And we’re were given one towel each. I think the cleaning crew got stingy. Bed was comfy but filled the whole room.

Wow! Amazing stay. Huge apartment with great amenities. I would absolutely recommend. The location is also impeccable, right next door to a great restaurant and a metro station, and a block from tonnes of attractions and shops.

The place was perfect!
This place was amazing! Great location! Comfy bed! The only thing, the water pressure was so low that water barely came out of the shower head, and it took at least 10 minutes, no lie, to get warm water. I don’t think that the shower is normally like that, but I would for sure stay here again!

Comfortable stay
Place was nice, comfortable and easy to manage around as it wasn't too big. Perfect for someone on business or if your a couple touring the city. Need to keep more TP on hand and be a bit more clear as to what to use for internet access as there are 4 or 5 different ones to choose from, but otherwise I was happy with my stay. Thanks!

Location!! Location!!
Perfect location for us Convenient to everything. Great food within walking distance. A convenient store at the entrance and next to that is the Metro entrance. Unit was very clean and updated nicely. We would definitely stay here again.

pour le prix ,un hotel 3 étoiles est préférable . on arrive ,le numéro du batiment n'était pas le bon,heureusement un ouvrier nous a dit de voir le batiment d'à coté et il nous a donné le code.il y avait des mauvaises herbes et des poubelles dans la cour comme si c'était à l'abandon .Dans le couloir pour monter à l'étage plein de déchets de chantier . Il fallait monter 3 étages avec 4 valises sans ascenseur .La porte de l'appartement était ouverte ,elle ne fermait pas ,le code ne servait à rien ,pour sortir on craignait pour nos bagages .Au rez de chaussée il y a un restaurant donc bruit et surtout l'odeur de cigarette et cuisine.nous n'avons pas pu visiter Montréal ,car nous avions peur pour nos bagages ,donc heureux de partir ,dites vous bien que si nous n'avions pas payé nous serions partis tout de suite .L'eau chaude il faut attendre 5 minutes pour l'avoir ,de plus le bouchon de la baignoire ne fermait pas .Le seul bon point ,l'emplacement dans Montréal .Premiere et derniere fois sur votre site Séjour très désagréable nous avons demandez à des voisins américains qui étaient très choqués aussi.Nous avons essayé de laver notre linge la machine n'a ni lavé ni rincé le linge juste trempé ,le linge était imbibé de lessive ,nous avons été obligé de sècher 2 heures .

Mail envoyé avec les instructions pour les codes des serrures (sur la rue, pour le bâtiment et pour l'appartement) envoyé 2 heures avant l'arrivée, c'est à dire quand on n'a pas accès au WiFi. Pourquoi ne pas envoyer un SMS ? Pas de code pour fermer la serrure de la porte : tout le monde peut rentrer Fenêtres à guillotine qui vous tombent dessus quand on les ouvre Télévision non connectée Accès en chantier, sale et plein de gravas. ...

Location could not have been beat!
What options are you looking for? Restaurants, shopping, museums, festivals, metro, simple shutterbug objects.... What romance the city and people offer as setting. Glad for the fan in the unit, could use a couple more or a window ac would have made it perfect. Didn't help we were there for the hottest weekend this far. Merci mon ami! Very stylish, close to downtown, too noisy for me
It’s a nice stylish flat, good facilities, but would really benefit from some kind of instruction booklet in the flat. There was nothing to tell me when the hot water was timed to come on or if I needed hot water how to turn it on or boost it. I had cold showers both days I stayed. The bar on the ground floor has expanded into the courtyard directly below flat and is very noisy from early on. When I stayed the opposite flat and below that was being completely stripped and rehabbed, which meant tool noise from very early and vibration/shaking in the flat. If you are a party person it may suit you as you may like the party noise and it is really close and well positioned just off st.catherine the main shopping street downtown.
