  1. Bien situé mais impossible de dormir...

    De la poudre aux yeux.. En arrivant, on est charmé par ce petit logement, à première vue bien équipé. Mais on s'aperçoit vite que le tout n'est qu'un leurre. L'aspirateur "fixé" au mur, ne tient pas. Les pieds centraux du lit n'ont pas été montés, donc on dort dans une cuvette, au risque de casser le couchage. Le sol tremble quand les voisins se déplacent chez eux. Il y a un gros problème d'insonorisation. Les voisins du haut, d'en face ainsi que près de la chambre, sont sans-gêne et manque totalement de respect. Quand vient le week-end, dès le vendredi soir 17h, il est littéralement impossible de fermer l'oeil à cause des soirées (alcool, beaucoup de monde, musique très forte, forte odeur Canabis) à répétition. Nous avons voulu nous plaindre auprès de l'organisme, mais il est marqué mot pour mot que si le bruit nous dérange, on doit appeler directement la Police, et que ce n'est pas leur responsabilité. En bref, nous repartons épuisés, et jamais nous ne reviendrons loger ici. Le seul et unique point positif de cet appartement, la localisation, qui est vraiment idéale. Je pense donc qu'ils en joues. Je recommande cet appartement pour un court séjour, en semaine seulement, si vous voulez dormir.

  2. Misleading and incomplete information

    The place was nothing but an old house with “nice” deco, the location was good in the center of the city but everything else was not for what I paid for. Starting with the fact that the website I made the reservation has very different pictures of the Apartment, non of them where the one I visited, it was small, everything was like bad renovated. The check in process is inefficient and if you happen to be from outside of the us and Canada, the code by phone never arrives, and of course the support never answer as well. Prices are around the same of a good hotel, ill better check other options before this one.

    I found it ok, my only complain is the smell and the trash in the stairs of the building, but the room was ok :) it sas near everythingq

  4. Séjour à Montréal

    Points + : Très bien situé / appartement propre et agréable / donne sur cour calme mais sûrement moins en été car juste au dessus d’une terrasse de café Points - : Les touches pour le code de l’immeuble dans la cour se bloquent et impossible d’entrer (je ne suis pas la seule à avoir eu ce problème) puis après un temps d’attente > à 5’ ça fonctionne à nouveau c’est inquiétant sur le coup Je n’ai pas réussi à ouvrir les fenêtres c’est gênant Il y a peut-être des façons de faire que je n’ai pas compris il faudrait mettre des consignes et mode d’emploi précis et aussi en français c’est après tout un état francophone

  5. No Elevator!

    We rented a one bedroom apartment for our 3 day stay in Montreal. The apartment was small but it was clean and comfortable. When we rented I did not know we would be on the 3rd floor and I really did not think to ask if there was an elevator. This would not be a problem for someone younger with good working knees, but we are in our late 60’s and I have had a knee replacement. So for me, it was not fun going up and down 3 flights of stairs.

  10. Good located and equipped appartment

    I was happy with our stay at Stanley Court appartment. It was clean, very well equipped kitchen, two TV's, nice bathroom,.... 1 minute from Metro. I would recomend and will be happy to come again. Vladimir Slovakia

  12. Great location, but lacking in cleanliness and features

    place looks great in pictures, but the room was not so clean. Towels & bed sheets did not meet my cleanliness expectations. There was a big A/C unit in the room, which detracts from the experience. No cable tv provided and Wifi was poor performance. For the money spent, I expect cable tv provided and more clean.

    The apartment was very clean, bed comfortable but on the downside..WiFi was nonexistent until I tried the room’s next door and I could get very limited service...also. The TV system did not respond obviously there was a connection missing for it would not load any channels. Rather disappointing. Thank you

  14. Good location, but noisy!

    Here are notes I shared with property manager: I checked out of apartment 303 this morning. Toilet roll holder was off of wall (stowed under sink) when we arrived. We were happy with the location and inside of apartment was very clean. Instructions for entering were very clear. Things we were not happy about: Noise from diner/bar next door, especially happy hour under our bedroom window at back of restaurant. (loud voices and loud music) Would have appreciated more than just 2 bed pillows. The towels were all damp when we arrived. We needed to hang them up to dry them out. Why no washcloths?! And only shampoo for shower. Why no soap for shower? Tension bar for shower curtain needs adjusting so curtain hangs lower and inside shower. Current location makes water drip out onto floor/bathmat. Only 2 very small rolls of toilet paper for 4 days! The toilet seat was very loose so I tightened it. Wish we had known it was a 3rd floor walk up without elevator! The stairs were littered with the same papers all 4 days we were there.

    The location is great and room is large. Just a bit issue on WiFi, can’t find the name of the network as being told , it was late and they didn’t reply me, so I myself used the information from router and connected. Don’t know what was really the problem.

  16. Appartement propre et moderne, excellent emplacement

    Très bel appartement, spacieux, moderne, bien décoré et très propre. Quelques étagères de rangement pour les vêtement seraient bienvenues pour compléter l'immense dressing de la chambre. Petit bémol sur les parties communes assez négligées (coquilles d'oeuf restées sur la moquette de l'escalier une semaine entière, toujours là à notre départ), poubelles et dépotoir dans la cour. Dommage. Je recommande malgré cet appartement très pratique et confortable, qui nous a permis de passer un très bon séjour.

    The apartment itself was satisfactory, but the pics make it look like a 9 when it is really a 7 on 10. There are problems and they start at the very begining. 1. There is a surprise charge of $70 for cleaning. $70!!!! WTF. If I wanted to almost double the cost if my stay I would have gone to a proper hotel. 2. Paranoid secondary booking by owners. Don't think it's over because you booked via Booking.com, oh no my friend, you need to send personal pics too. I almost most this fact and almost lost my booking. 3. Paranoid security. You need to jump through hoops to get the 3, yes 3 passwords to get to your room. 4. Disgusting court yard 5. Disgusting stairwell with stained carpets from the 80s 6. Noisy frat kids. All in all I would rate it a 6/10. There are better options out there, believe me.

  18. Somewhat disappointing with the state of the apartment

    First day lock wasn't working and it just get worst --- but I'm glad to say that on second or was it third day it was fixed. There was no coat rack to put coats on and also with the shoes would need some rack too. As a European I'm not used to keep shoes on corridor as some of the neighbors did. View - well not really view as you needed to keep blinders down to avoid neighbors for other buildings looking into apartment. Kitchen was ok, except the sink and the faucet -- faucet cap was loose so most of the time when trying to run some water you were left with the faucet cap on you hand. Stove was too scary for me to even try as some of the burners were loose. Bathroom was ok --- I bought more toilet paper as to rolls are not enough for two weeks, and the toilet paper holder is loose as well. My the way I saw some life there -- small black worm/snail looking thing was running on the floor. Neighbors were quite noisy on the last week. I woke up every morning with door banging or really heavy steps at 6 am. and I'd like to sleep till 7 am. (this is not a biggy but annoying) And there were more .... so this is the reason I'm giving Fair as review. You have lot to improve to make it excellent.

    Je viens de séjourner une semaine au Stanley Court. L’appartement était propre, l’ameublement un petit peu basic, mais l’emplacement imbattable sur la rue Stanley, à deux pas du métro Peel. Comme il n’y a pas d’ascenseur, l’appartement ne conviendrait pas pour une personne à mobilité réduite. Les appartements du Stanley Court semblent frequentés par une clientèle jeune. Pour terminer, J’accorde la note parfaite à Simplissimmo pour la communication.

    My only complaint was that I was not advised that to lock the door to my unit it was necessary to insert the code. This should have been explained in the email sent to me with the various entry codes and perhaps also on paper directions inside the unit.

    While the apartment was not clean when I arrived but I called and they sent someone immediately to clean - great customer service! The apartment was in a perfect location to the conference I attended and was very well priced. Wifi was strong and I was able to work without fail. An excellent alternative to a hotel. I will definitely stay again when back in Montreal. Mike from Toronto.

    Very well located, aside of the subway and close to good restaurants. The apartment is nice, equipped. The bathroom could be better. The issue was the building, full of trash in the internal patio, it must be better managed.

  27. Was a mistake

    Bad: -enclosed, smelly old building -cigarets smell in the room -noisy aircon -old linens whith pillows ans matress from previous century -tiny shower Good: -nothing that I would remember Was my attempt to save 30$ a night compare to the hotel, I regret it big time.

    1.siège de toilette pas fixer 2. une lumière non fonctionnelle dans la toilette/douche 3. aucune directive pour l'utilisation du système décodeur /TV 4. Téléviseur chambre à coucher aucune info et branchement à des canaux de TV 5.entrée principale beaucoup de poubelles odeur nauséabonde 6. chien qui jappe dans la cour intérieur et dans la cage d'escalier 7. Matin très bruyant personnes qui parle et entent le four micro-ondes des voisins fonctionner. 8.situation géographie parfait * 9.Lors de ma réservation les frais de $75.00 de nettoyage dans la facturation 10.lors de la réservation le prix avant taxes était de $161.46 et pour un total de $266.28 que lorsque je réserve dans d'autres établissement avec Booking .com le prix de la chambre inclus le nettoyage .
