  8. Great stay in a stylish, modern apartment

    Positive: The location was fantastic. This hotel would be ideal for a 20-40 year old couple (no kids) who are looking for an hip, minimalistic hotel in a great location. Everything was beyond my expectations. The room was very stylish and modern. The bed was comfy. I loved the couch. The appliances were great. It was the best of a Airbnb and a hotel. Negative: It would've been nice to have some housekeeping to refresh the coffee pods.

  11. Bien, mais les critiques précédentes sont surfaites à mon sens.

    Positive: L'emplacement géographique dans le vieux Montréal est super. Malgré le fait que ce soit un "hotel" sans accueil personnel, lorsque nous avons eu un problème de connexion avec la télévision, une personne nous est venue en personne dans un délai de moins de 30 minutes. Satisfaisant Negative: L'endroit manque de chaleur, même si nous avions l'unité avec des armoires en bois. Le look est froid. Les corridors sont sombres et les luminaires avec des mains qui tiennent une boule de lumière donne un look lugubre. Par ailleurs, il n'y avait pas de miroir utilisable au dessus du lavabo. Aucun miroir grossissant non plus. Difficile pour une femme de se maquiller. Le plancher n'était pas tout à fait propre.

    This is a great place to stay for couples. The whole unit has a structuralist dungeon / industrial vibe that still affords a relatively home-like atmosphere. The see-through shower is super cool, but be sure you know you want that before you get it! The kitchen and bedroom were all very well appointed as well.

  28. Wonderful hotel in the old part of Montreal!

    Positive: Perfect location for us as we wanted to spend time in the old part of the city. The walking tours, shopping and dining were within easy walking distance though being steady on your feet is important due to the cobble stones and ragged condition of curbs etc. Everything seemed brand new. Decor is very industrial and gray with fantastic ambient lighting which really brightened up the space. It was quiet in the room. And it seemed every amenity had been considered. Negative: The entry and hallways are painted a very dark color and the lighting is subdued so it was hard for me to see the access code panels to get into the building and the room. I liked the vibe though so just used the flashlight on my phone when needed. Parking space is at a premium. We were able to use a lot about a half block from the hotel - but the experience was not particularly positive. Cash was required - we only had US$ at that time but they charged the same dollars whether US or Canadian. When we prepared to leave they charged an extra day. Despite this, we would definitely stay at the hotel again - and perhaps find a different spot to park.

    David's truly provides exactly what they promise. For those unsure about the modern, clean-line look, worry not, the bed and small sofa are really comfortable. You really will be in the heart of everything, whether it be the tourist must-dos, the boutique shops, museums, or local neighborhoods. Anything you need is a short walk away.

    Positive: Awesome and huge loft, exactly like the pictures. Also had everything you need for an extended stay. Great location a few minutes from Notre Dame. Easy virtual check-in process. Negative: Parking not included but that was made clear from the start.

    I would definitely stay here again! The loft had everything we needed and was just a few blocks from Notre Dame so close to all the restaurants and shops. My only complaints were that the hallway smelled heavily of smoke and on occasion would start to drift into our room. We seemed to lack hot water on our last day though didn't have issues the other days. I'm thinking it was due to the unseasonably cold temperatures for April! The team was very responsive.

    Positive: David Hotel was really easy to get to. It's close to a few different metro stations, it's close to cute cafes and restaurants. The room is large and spacious, and includes quite a few amenities. It was great to have access to a washer/drier! If you like to walk, you can get to so many places on foot from the hotel. Great value. Negative: The entrance hallway was a little dark, it was a bit frustrating that check-in and check-out times could not be changed, and that there is no place to store luggage before check-in or after check-out - but we made it work.

  58. Concept très sympa et tout plein de petit détail bien pensé.

    Positive: Bel espace bien pensé autour d’une cuisine fonctionnel et esthétique. Lit très confortable, super douche à l’italienne. Beau concept et très bien équipé. Negative: Un petit manque d’isolation phonique (en pleine nuit, on entendait quelqu’un marcher avec des talons et c’est comme si la personne était avec nous dans la pièce et des gens qui parlaient fort vers 5h du matin mais ça n’a pas duré trop longtps. Comme il n’y a pas de personnel sur place, il faut que les gens s’autodisciplinent.

    Stayed for 3 nights with my partner for a wedding where I was a bride's maid. Layout of the room was cool and modern, the place was very clean, in a great location, and had everything we needed. The check-in and check-out times could not be changed, which I found to be a bit frustrating. The entrance hallway was rather dark, and it wasn't possible to store luggage before check-in or after check-out, but we made it work (we were able to store luggage at Bonaventure station). I loved that we were able to stay in Old Montreal for a very reasonable price (especially for the size of the room and amenities included). We were close to a number of metro stations, cute cafes and restaurants. It was easy to get to and from wedding activities, and was great to have the space and quiet to rest after the festivities! When we arrived, there were cleaning staff in the hallway who helped make sure we knew where we were going, and that we understood how to use the door codes, which was very kind of them!!

    Merveilleux séjour dans le loft 48 , tout a été parfait, les petites attentions qui nous ont été préparées pour notre arrivée ont été très apprécié , la propreté du lieu , le calme , l'ambiance , le style minimaliste moderne , le confort , nous nous sommes senti en voyage dans notre propre ville . Longue vie a David hotel !
