  2. Great location - not a great stay

    The good: Thai is a very central location, close to the subway, still a walking distance from the old part of town, close to many restaurants and shops. Not so good: The listing includes various photos and, let’s say, we didn’t get to stay in one of the more updated units. But the rooms were comfortable and accommodated our family of four. The apartment was clean, the bed linens very clean as well, and the beds comfortable. The main bathroom is a bit tired and so are the common spaces. The kitchen/living area felt very constrained with a very small window that’s not meant to provide a view - barely some natural light. The really bad: the last night there was a loud party in one of the units above - even thought parties aren’t allowed. The people walking and moving furniture in top of us, people screaming in the hallways and coming in and out of the building. We would not return and I’d not recommend it to families with small kids. If noise is not an issue, then it’s ok for the price.

    Location is great, security is excellent although honorous to use with 3 separate door codes. The apartment looks much better in the photos. It is tired, with some equipment needing repair and needs an overall deep clean of services, walls and windows. Beds are clean and comfortable. Towels are clean.

  5. Better than a Hotel

    This was simply amazing , so much more comfortable, roomier , we had 2 bathrooms “BONUS “. Beds were very comfy !! Yes there are stairs , but we-all need our exercise and it is definitely worth it !!!!!

  6. Great location - not what we were expecting

    You couldn't ask for a better location, but the inside of the apartment did not meet our expectations based on the photos in the listing. The place appears very well used and in need of some TLC to refresh it all - new paint, fix up the tile floor in the bathroom, the shower leaked onto the bathroom floor, new furniture in the sitting area.

  12. Poor service

    On the morning of of our stay before checking in I receive a call from an agent stating that there was a safety issue that developed, that the ceiling was falling down, and we could no longer stay in the two bedroom apartment we booked. They had no more two bedroom apartments available and offered two one bedroom apartments one the same floor, which would work as we had 4 adults. He said he would send pictures of apartments available and pick which ones...I was about to get on a flight and told him I’d be awhile getting back to him. When I had cell service after the flight he had already book me for two apartments in another complex further away from where we wanted to stay. When I asked about the apartment options I was told these were the only two! This meant more walking to and from Bell Centre and other areas, I asked for a discount or a 3 hour later check out time and was not given an answer via text, called and was told they would get back to me, never heard from them, called again and after after arguing with the agent he finally gave me a 15% discount for all the inconvenience. The apartments are very nice but the service wasn’t good

    We were very happy with the location of the apartments. We had access to restaurants, grocery stores, transit and attractions - Bell Centre. Alex and Cecilia were awesome at communicating how to get into the building. We just found that the air conditioner wasn’t big enough for the apartment to cool it off. As well, we would have like more soap dispensers, toilet paper and towels.

  25. Good place for the price

    Honestly the Price was right and the location was great - That said the actual apartment was only far however lovable. Don't expect a palace because you'll be disappointed. When they say it fits only 4 they are right. The main TV is almost eye bulging close - The smallest bathroom door did not close. The larger bathroom had water stains under the sink and one of the towels was actually wet. All I can say here is check everything - towels - bed sheets etc. The first night someone knocked on the door to inform use they were going to have a "small party". She left her phone number and name and said if it got to loud we should text or call. WOW - it was loud - People up and down the stairs - Music thumping away - loud voices and laughter - It was actually on and off but I woke at least once an hour or more - Cigarette and Pot was the wafted through the cracks in the front door - The rest of the stay was quite enough. The court yard was not shoveled well and we had to be careful on the ice. The entrance Door to the building would scrape the cement and we thought it was a dog at first but the door made this piercing sound. It would not close fully and people would just leave it open which made the halls pretty cold. We didn't mind the three flights of stairs and the neighborhood seemed pretty safe. It's close to restaurants, stores and other sites. We went to see Mumford and Sons (which was great). The apartment is 10 minutes from the stadium. Public transportation is great and you are only steps from the subway - and not much further to buses. WIFI was good - Funny story - We hung at night and our son watched Netflix. He found the DC series Titans - When he got back to the states - No titan series - It was only released in Europe. Anyway, If you want to save some $$ so you can spend it on other things this is the place to stay. As for staying here again - nope - but as long as you go into it eyes wide open and maybe bring your towels - it's Montreal on a budget.

    Great experience, very nice. Bed for two kids was a little narrow, and booked address was different, so we first went to the wrong place 😞, but everything else was fine 🙂 Great view. Very central

    Location is excellent, next to a subway station and a street with many world-class shops. Apartment on the 3rd floor without elevator, noise interference from the apartment above. Building was under renovation, lots of dust on the stairs. Kitchen equipped with utensils to cook

    Bruyant troisième sans ascenseur (avec les valises pas top!) mal équipé (pas de théière pas de cafetière peu de serviettes de bain...) fenêtres qui ne s'ouvrent pas et sales un spot et une prise électrique sur deux qui fonctionne etc... bref seul l'emplacement est parfait

    I had stay there for tow days and when I arrived there was everything not clean like towels some of them had dirt in them and Bed sheet had not good smell .at the same way . the sofa had like pet hair above it the big problem there when I checked out my cost was 325 they took from my creadet card 175 extra that because what they said I left the evon on but I did not they want to take other people money only. I do not gonna stay there anymore.
