Great Place In MTL
Great location. Easy instruction for check in and check out. Super pretty and is a comfortable space for 2. Parking options are around - parked at 1256 guy street.

Skin deep
While everything functions and was in place as promised, the apartment was neither comfortable nor relaxing. The place smelt like vape wax, the floors were cold, the noise from the street travels through the thin windows, the constant air ventilation makes you feel sickly…. For a similar price you can hit up a regular hotel and get the temporary feeling that you are not staying in a shiny box - this one could not rise above the surface effect. I think if I had used the kitchen it would have been a better trade off…

Awesome!!
The appartment was so nice and clean and was located in the perfect spot; right beside st-catherine street, which allowed everything to be at walking distance! Also the place was very secure as you needed a code to get into the building, a code to select your floor (in the elevator) and a code to get into your room. We would’ve loved to stay a few extra days, so this will defenitely be an option for our next stays!

Great potential, unfulfilled
We were so excited to stay here, having the convenience of a condo while exploring the city. Unfortunately, while the ability to cook in our suite was convenient, our experience otherwise was negative. When we went to bed on the first night upon pulling back all the sheets we realized there was no fitted bedsheet, so when we pulled back the bottom sheet it revealed the bed cover base. This would have been alright except it was dirty and covered in hair, clearly had not been cleaned before us. We called to report to Simplissimo, but unfortunately were only met with new sheets & no solution to the dirty bedcover. We attempted to clean the hair etc. off the bedcover by using the in suite dyson vacuum - which we thought was a nice touch - unfortunately as soon as we placed the vacuum on the bed a partial condom wrapper fell out of the vacuum head onto the bed...giving us a more icky experience than that we already were worried about. The following day they sent a team to replace the bedcover and sheets (still no fitted sheet), but the cleaning team did not address additional cleanliness problems we highlighted with the couch nor did they remove the huge pile of sheets we had in the space from the problems the night before. Aside from this minimal change of sheets the following day, no efforts were made by Simplissimo to make ammends for our gross experiences the night before. Unfortunately, due to these experiences in future travel to Montreal we will forgo the opportunity to cook our own breakfasts and instead look to a traditional hotel which we believe would likely provide a higher quality of service in similar circumstances.

Decent Hotel
This was a nice apartment to stay in. The only thing I didn't like was the self check in system. It seems great at first but I wound up preferring a standard key or key card. On a positive note, the bed was massive and so comfortable. The apartment is in a great area and it was clean. Definitely worth the money I paid for it.

first stay was better
- The microwave was too high, difficult to use (with no instructions) and the microwave cover inside was dirty. - The bathroom door from the bedroom side: the doorstop is located in front of the toilet (Seriously?!). I can't tell you the number of times in one night I knocked my poor toes on this doorstop. - Most importantly, the TV in the bedroom was not working properly. I turned it off, it worked for 5 minutes, then turned off on its own. I turned it back on, the sound had a problem. At the end, the screen got dark and it said no signal, then froze. I tried everything, it would not turn off, or unfreeze... I had to unplug the TV and plug it back. By that time, I was too tired to watch TV so I went straight to bed. The TV in the living room worked perfectly. During my first stay back in Summer 2019, I had none of these issues. The apartment was clean, large enough and comfortable. Both TVs worked well. - If like me, you are someone who is careful about the share of ID documents, you are not going to like the registering process. I wonder what they do with the pictures of our IDs once the registration and stay are over...

Very nice place
When we showed up, the apartment was very clean, well put together and the location was amazing. Everything we visited was a 15 minute walk away. Only issue was the TV would randomly shut off or not work at times Would stay there again!

Dry nice place to stay
The apartment was clean and comfortable. Wonderful bed and bedding! The check in was efficient. We had a bit of trouble with the TV and would have appreciated more detailed instructions. Otherwise all great!

Appartement spacieux mais dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de personnel sur place. Une des deux télé de l'appartement ne fonctionnait pas câble debranchés à l'arrière de celle ci d'après ce que nous avons ou voir mais cette dernière étant fixée au mur nous n'avons pas voulu y toucher (oui il y en a 2 mais quand on paye on s'étend à ce que tout fonctionne). Régulateur de température pour l'eau de la douche cassé du coup douche froide pendant tout le séjour (le personnel n'étant pas sur place nous avons eu droit à des tutos par vidéo) merci nous savons comment fonctionne une douche. Aspirateur Dyson accroché au mur pas vidé (un détail mais ça ne fait quand même pas très clean et accueillant en plus du reste...) Le bâtiment a déjà bien vécu... C'est correcte dirons nous mais très déçus pour l'histoire de la douche qui nous a vraiment gâché le séjour et surtout peu appréciable d'être pris pour des idiots par e-mail.

Great apartment in a wonderful location
The apartment has all the amenities of home for convenience and is clean and comfortable. Great location in Downtown Montréal, with bars and restaurants nearby. There are also many minimarkets and cafes. The Guy Concordia Metro stop is only a few metres away, with links to the rest of the city. Big student area and lots of people walking about all the time so very safe.

Exceeded my expectations
It's not like I booked this hotel thinking it was a substitute for the Ritz Carlton. Still I was unsure what to expect. In the end, it exceeded my expectations. Sure, it seemed a little odd to have to manage the entry (no lobby staff!) and room-door with numeric keypads. And the exterior of the building -- just like many others in the surrounding vicinity -- exhibited that somewhat "New Brutalism" appearance. But that was EASY to get past, frankly, and I rather enjoyed the austere interaction between the establishment and me. The suite itself was full-sized, well-equipped with a nice bed that featured nice bedding, and a complete kitchen/dining/living area that was spare but complete. This exactly suited my needs. Not too much, not too little. Importantly, well-located. If I return to Montreal on business, I'll remember this place.

Great apartment!!
As soon as you walk in your impressed. It had everything you could need during your stay in the city! It’s in a great practical location downtown. The metro is minutes walk away. Its sound proof loved that. I will definitely be renting this place in the future!

Great Location Excellent Looking Room
When I first got there I was a little concerned by the outside appearance of the building but that all changed when I went into the room. The check in was easy (except for not knowing I had to plug my code in to use the elevator too) and the room was a lot better than I expected. The only down side was that there was minor construction in the apartment below which started around 9 am, but other than that I recommend The Pierce to anyone looking for a nice place to stay for an affordable price!

Need Luggage storage
I’m fine with check in and out by myself, but as a hotel, I still expect the minimal convenience during my trip, that means, I have a place to store my luggage after checking out at 11. Instead, I had to drag my suitcase through Montreal for a whole day.

Good
Complicated to get in hotel room, but it makes it more safe. Door was unlocked when we got there, and TVs did not work. We kept getting kicked out of Netflix every 20 minutes which made it very annoying. Other than that, everything was great; the shower was amazing, the bed was comfortable, the kitchen was nice and the AC worked really well. Would stay again. :)

Parfaitement situé, bien équipé, endroit calme et très propre! À part le bruit des travaux de rénovation dans la chambre voisine à 8h le matin, notre séjour était parfait! Nous y retournerons assurément.

Choix idéal
Bien situé: à un coin de rue du métro Guy Concordia, à 2 minutes de marche d’un stationnement payant, à environ le même temps de la connue rue Ste-Catherine pour le magasinage. L’appartement était très propre. Il est spacieux. Bien équipé. Air conditionné si nécessaire. J’y retournerai certainement.

Worst air bnb/ hotel
Checked in on Monday afternoon, everything in the room was great. There were 2 TVs in the unit that we stayed at and the one in the master bedroom didn’t work. It would work for a minute but then the tv will crash because the WiFi network wasn’t strong enough. I tried to email the property mgmt and texted them, didn’t get any response at all, we were staying at the hotel for 5 days and it was just inconvenient for us. The building itself is really old, they only renovated the one floor and we were required to put our garbage to another floor above us, the 6th floor was awful. The people in the building was also not very friendly. Never again.
