I’d stay here everytime I’m in Montreal.
Positive: The space was gorgeous. It was conveniently located to the places I needed to visit. I was concerned about the location based on previous reviews but it is like any other metropolitan city, no safety concerns. The beds were super comfy! Negative: The furniture in my unit has a lot of wear and tear.

The loft was super clean, cozy and the bathroom was spotless. The beddings are utterly comfortable as well. The check-in went smoothly as well and the view on the terrasse upstairs is stunning. However, the area was filled with screaming junkies 24/7. They were at the building doorstep all day/night long despite the gate protecting the entry way.... And even with closed windows we could hear them day and night..... so not suitable with young children..... But if eventually the neighborhood mproves, we'll definitely come back with my family.

We paid for a two-bedroom / two-bathroom unit, & this unit only had ONE bathroom! We tried to reach the property manager unsuccessfully on arrival to find out where to access the parking spot we paid for, but never got an answer. After scouring the neighborhood, we finally went into the convenience store next door, & were told that the parking was in their lot, next to the building! The neighborhood is very transitional, with a heavy presence of homeless/ impaired people on the sidewalks & in the parking lot next to the building. The area behind the building reeks of urine. The dishwasher either didn't work, or was jammed shut. We enjoyed having a washer & dryer in the unit, & made our one-night stay work, but would not stay here again.

Decided to try this instead of a hotel. Space was great, location was great. The owner said I could potentially get in a bit early to put my things in but never got back to me until an hour before check in which didn’t matter by that time. When I got there at the check in time, the cleaner was still there so I waited until she finished. The shower had hair in the drain and mould and discolouration in the corners. I understand it’s winter but the living space was cold despite my adjusting the thermostat to the highest setting. Had to watch TV in the bedrooms because it was so cold. Be sure to double check deposit as I was charged twice the amount requested. Bad first impression using VRBO.

We had a great stay at this air bnb and it was absolutely stunning on the inside. This is probably my fault but we didn't really read reviews and were surprised at the amount of homeless people directly outside of our stay. The only issue we really had was that someone (who works there) entered our property without knocking or informing us while the door was locked. Not only did this freak us out because we weren't sure who she was, but the door was locked and she still got in. There was also a leak in the left bathroom sink but no major issues, we loved it overall!

Positive: Great spacious apartment , good central location, very clean and comfortable. Hosts were accessible by text at any time. Really appreciated laundry machines, Nespresso coffee machine with pods and all kitchen conveniences (salt, pepper, oil, dish washer and laundry detergent ). Negative: Would suggest a full height mirror in the entry lobby. We understood it had two bathrooms, but it has one. Although that bathroom is large with two sinks.

While the Airbnb itself is beautiful, the surroundings felt unsafe. Unfortunately, the environment surrounding the unit takes away from the experience. We were fortunate to be a party of four but met two ladies in the elevator that were feeling unsafe especially late at night after being at an event. While we felt for the many homeless people that were at the neighboring shelter, there was clearly substance abuse happening on the street that left us uneasy. We parked underground as it didn't feel safe to park on the street. The unit itself was very minimal in terms of additional amenities provided, including products typically provided in the kitchen/bathrooms.

Nice apartment, however we are unlikely to return as the noisy location interrupted our sleep.
Positive: The apartment was centrally located with lots of restaurants and food stores in the area. It was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The unit's design was airy and modern, and the beds were very comfortable. Negative: We found the apartment noisy. On our first night there was noise coming from partiers out on the street, and the double-paned front windows were not enough to filter it out. The next morning we were woken at 7 am by construction going on across the street on a building site and the sound of truck deliveries to local stores. The second night there was a loud gathering next door that went on until 1 am in the morning which made it difficult to sleep. In addition to this, there wasn't a garbage chute in the hallway. Instead, occupants on the floor are expected to load their garbage and recycling into industrial-sized bins out in the hallway, which created refuse smells in the corridor which would then waft into the apartment when you entered.

Positive: The apartment itself was nicely finished but was getting a bit tired and had some bizarre details.We was two couples so it was weird not having a bedroom door downstairs next to the toilet but obviously just design features. Negative: The list is endless but I’ll just give a few.The air conditioning did not work in the upstairs bedroom which turned it into a sauna you couldn’t leave the door to the balcony open due to the noise from the air con units that did work.We called the agents who sent a security guard round to fix it and after waiting 2 hours for him to turn up he didn’t have a clue what he was doing but in all fairness was a nice guy.So the couple staying had to sleep on the couch downstairs and although there was a unit downstairs it wasn’t up to the job so we all had a rubbish night.Then you had the vagrants outside the apartment making so much noise it was ridiculous which also lead to the police turning up two times during the night to try and calm them down.We called the company in the morning to say we were moving hotels as the woman felt really unsafe and was informed that it’s part of being in Montréal they also asked my wife to change some fuses to try and make the air con work.We asked them to refund the two nights we weren’t staying but they weren’t interested offering a voucher as if we’d ever chose them again.The description and position of the apartment should tell people about the surrounding area.We will be sending pictures direct to booking.com so they can see if the information they give is misleading to regular users like ourselves who between me and my wife have probably spent over 10k in the last year and will seriously think about using another company.

Positive: The apartment is in a very convenient location. Walking distance to the Old Town, metro station, a couple of art museums, McGill Universtity, underground city, Mont-Royal and of course, some good restaurants. Negative: The hot water in the bathroom was only lukewarm on the first day, but it was fine on the second day. A couple of the chairs in the living room were quite worn. There was no parking on site. We used an underground parking garage nearby.

Positive: Die Unterkunft ist wirklich sehr schön und extrem hochwertig eingerichtet. Leider wird sie nicht in diesem Zustand erhalten. viele Kleinigkeiten stimmen nicht. Nur zwei Kleiderbügel, Bügelbrett kaputt, Gardine gerissen, Wasserhahn läuft nach, keine Möbel auf der Dachterrasse…. Man hat aber zugesagt alles zu reparieren. die Lage ist perfekt, leider wohnen sehr viele Obdachlose vor der Tür. Als Alleinreisende würde ich mich nicht sicher fühlen. Negative: Der Pflegezustand.

Positive: The Apartment was great at all levels. Spacious, clean, cozy. Well lit and well structured. Rooms, bathroom and kitchen was well clean. Proximity to the Old Montreal around 20-25 minutes walk. Negative: So many homeless - no threat though. And no provision for parking. One would need to park on the streets which turns out to be costly. But that does not stop one from booking this place.

Positive: Spacious Negative: The place is clean, pictures represented the Appartment, one thing I hated, straight after booking they sent an Email asking for a 500$ security deposit to be refunded after 7 days, this happened after money has been deducted for the first night, and there was no way to cancel the booking. I’m not sure if they have refunded the deposit to date, they have sent a list of threatening instructions to explain how they take the security deposit. Never again, it was only too late to change my mind and find another place to stay.

Positive: Le mieux est idéalement placé car vous accédez au centre ville à une dizaine de minutes à pieds. Le métro est également très proche (5 minutes). Par contre l’endroit est bruyant et de nombreux clochards et drogués sont en bas de l’immeuble ou en face. Cependant ils ne sont pas agressifs. Negative: La médiocrité des équipements : 1 four est présent mais aucun plats pour aller dedans. Les assiettes, verres et couverts ne sont pas assez nombreux. La porte du lave vaisselle est cassée (il faut tirer dessus fort et enfin quand elle s’ouvre, vous la prenez sur le pied = sympa pour le 1er jour des vacances !). Une fuite dans la salle de bain au niveau d’un évier, une des douches est cassée, les joints sont jaunes ! Et enfin les serviettes de bain sont trouées !

Negative: La propreté laisse a désiré, cuisine manque d'équipement de basse; pas de plaque pour le four, batteries de cuisine non adéquate pour 4 personnes ..aucun linge à vaisselle, pas de sac supplémentaire pour la poubelle..aucune cafetière filtre seulement pour petit café expresso...terrasse extérieure très bruyante dû aux systèmes de climatisations sur le toit. Aucune chaise disponible sur la terrasse. Beaucoup d'itinérants dans les environs, bruyants cris le soir et pendant la nuit.

Positive: appartement spacieux et moderne Negative: 1er avis laissé sur Booking.com mais impossible de faire autrement. Si vous êtes une femme seule ou avec des enfants, n'allez surtout pas dans ces appartements!! Les sans-abris ont élu domicile devant l'entrée même de l'immeuble et vous abordent sans gène jusqu'à vous agresser physiquement! La vue des appartements donne sur un terrain vague recouvert des déchets des sans-abris. On ne peut pas se promener en toute quiétude dans la rue et lorsque l'on rentre d'une journée de tourisme, on se précipite à l'intérieur de l'immeuble (en priant que personne ne nous pousse pour forcer le passage!). C'est dommage que la direction n'ait pas l'honnêteté d'alerter les femmes qui réservent de l'insécurité des lieux! Les appartements (en l'occurrence le 1301) mériteraient d'être rafraichis et remis en état car tout part en lambeaux (les meubles de la cuisine sont sur le point de s'effondrer, les spots de la hotte pendent hors de leurs orbites). Coté ustensiles de cuisine, apportez vos couverts et verres car sur un appartement pour 4 personnes, les fourchettes, les couteaux, les verres manquent à l'appel. L'appartement était mal nettoyé, de la moisissure était présente dans les angles de la douche et les casseroles de la cuisine étaient d'une crasse indescriptible! Peu d'ouvertures sur l'extérieur et toutes sont fixes exceptée celle qui donne sur la terrasse à l'étage du loft, mais celle-ci ne sert pas à grand chose car la vue donne sur les câbles et les unités centrales des climatisations. Les photos sur le site datent de plusieurs années, c'est évident! Enfin l'équipe gérant les appartements est peu encline à comprendre vos inquiétudes (lorsque vous demandez que vos vélos soient acceptés dans l'appartement (dont le hall est immense) sous peine d'être volés s'ils restent à l'extérieur).

Negative: Malheureusement,l’équipe simplissimmo ne cherche qu’à prendre votre argent.Il n’y avait pas mention des MILLIONS DE RÈGLES avant de payer,donc 48 heure à l’avance après avoir payer,je fais donc une demande d’annulation et me disent qu’il ne peuvent que débourser 100 $ sur les 300$ alors que c’est 48 heures en avance (et ça disait que c’était sencé être sans frais!!!(avant de payer )il disait aussi sur le booking que l’appart pouvait accueillir 8 personnes avant 11 h , le manager vient donc cogner à 8:30!et me dit qu’on ne peut être que 6 que la police est là( 2 patrouilles en bas & c’est clairement lui qui a appeller, finalement , moins de 1 heure plus tard vers 9h00 il envoie un message et me dit que c’est le dernier avertissement et qu’on doit être que 4 et que si non il prendra mon dépôt ET la police est revenu et a arrêter ceux qui sont parti!!!!( voici la photo de preuve qu’il nous a bien dit 8 PERSONNES avant d’envoyer l’argent. Positive: It was a huge beautiful space, very clean. Negative: If you are travelling for business, there is no concierge or anywhere to leave your luggage after check out. There was a weird beeping sound the second night, which I am not sure what the source was, and there is no-one after hours to answer you! I had an early morning and couldn’t sleep. So even though it was a huge beautiful clean space it was not comfortable.

This is a very spacious, well appointed apartment within walking distance of McGill’s campus and a main metro line. However the experience is really more akin to a hotel than a hosted B and B, and based on our visit, guests expecting a hotel-like stay may be disappointed. The room was not at all clean for our visit, with visibly dirty floors, linens and dishes. The neighborhood also felt transitional (the building is next door to a 24 hour convenience / liquor store, and we frequently encountered visibly intoxicated patrons, some of whom camped out in the entry to the building). Overall guests should be able to find similarly appointed lodgings in Montreal for comparable prices in better neighborhoods.

We were only two, but there is plenty of room and privacy for four people as there is a room downstairs and one upstairs. The shower is huge!! Definitely a great choice. The only downsides.., public parking isn't easy around, there was lot of noise outside from road work, there was only one tab of dishwasher soap and no laundry detergent.

There are nice big windows with blackout shades so you can sleep in. Everything is new and modern inside. The air conditioning unit was noisy at times. Le Loft 1301 du Milton Parc
Le loft est spacieux et confortable, bien situé. Il est vrai que c'est le quartier des itinérants autochtones, mais ils ne sont pas dérangeants. Petites remarques: il est à noter que les bancs de l'îlot sont un peu trop haut pour être parfaitement à l'aise pour manger. Nous aurions apprécié avoir de la lingerie pour la cuisine. Nous avons aimé notre séjour.

nice place for a city trip
I enjoyed my stay. Nice apartment and well located for shopping or access to public transportation. I did find a few flaws though. It lacks basic kitchen utensils such as a bottle opener, a corkscrew, a pot high enough to cook pasta, dishes to use the oven properly. More glasses, cutlery and seats would not be neglected. We wanted to use the dishwasher, my wife hurt herself opening it, the door has no brake. There are a few finishing defects that are quite easy to fix, such as the TV on the wall or a few small holes that are not filled in. The floor is nice but has many holes. There is also a problem of insulation, we heard a lot of noise from the street and we felt a draft when we were on the sofa.

Centrally located, easy access to sights, restaurants, museums -- the MiltonParc provided a wonderful pied a terre for our stay in Montreal. My only suggestion is that there should be some information about how to work the televisions in the apartment. Complicated system, and we were never able to suss out how to watch live TV during the brief interval in which we wanted it.

Decent apartment, horrible customer service
Our unit on the third floor was fair to poor. On the plus side, the neighborhood was urban but very convenient and the space was roomy. But so many things were broken and getting anything fixed required making multiple demands to a hostile customer service team that gave an initial response of "its not broken" to every notice of something being wrong. The dishwasher had to be pried open with a spoon. The air conditioning made a horrible noise like a fog horn. When the air conditioner was finally serviced, the repair man left a film of drywall dust all over everything. The kitchen had a random, insufficient assortment of glasses and supplies, enough to eat take-out or maybe cook something simple like pasta. There was no soap supplied for the washing machine and very little soap in the bathrooms. It seemed like the management company doesn't care about upkeep and the hostile customer service made a mediocre experience turn poor.

Terrible mechanical noise at 4am and blame on us!
We were woken up by extremely loud and frightening mechanical noise and vibration from the AC and the surrounding ceiling area. Contacted the hotel management by text. No solution provided. They told US to investigate by giving us instructions while we lost sleep from 4am to 6am. After we checked out, they texted us saying the noise was from the dishwasher which was not closed!!... that was a total BS. We didn’t use the kitchen at all. Didn’t even touch the dishwasher. The dishwasher is not anywhere near ceiling, is it? No apologies until we pointed out that they should admit their fault at lack of maintenance. Also the description of Room 1301 says 2 bathrooms... there was only one bathroom. Never again.

A part le câble de la télé qui ne marchait pas et les locataires précédents qui n'avaient pas bien lavé les verres rien à signaler. Personnel attentif et réactif aux demandes

Très agréable
Séjour à 4 pendant 5 nuits. Très bien! Pas forcément évident à trouver car le numéro est caché,mais la porte d'entrée jouxte un restaurant de sucré (cacao70) Très confortable, apprécié des ados, proche du centre

Bon séjour à Montréal
Séjour Sympa à Montréal. L'appartement est bien placé près du centre bien que dans une rue moins agréable. Décoration, équipement et état de l'appartement très bien. Il manque quelques fauteuils sur la petite terrasse pour boire l'apéro le soir. Un problème la propreté est un peu limite. Nous avons eu une invasion de fourmis et de moucheron en partie à cause de la présence des bacs de poubelles sur le palier de l'ascenseur. L'hôte a néanmoins été très réactif en traitant dans la journée une partie du problème.

Montreal Trip and stay at the MiltonParc Hotel
The hotel looked exactly as pictured on the inside. That was nice and they were very responsive to my needs. The area where the hotel was located sketchy looking but we had absolutely no issues. The parking was very close but left a lot to be desired in the fact that it was at a convenience store and the spaces were small and we often had difficulty leaving.
