I gave this property 3 of 5 stars because there were some good and bad things. Hope this helps you decide if it's someplace you're interested in staying. The GOOD: Very comfortable amount of space in the unit Full size washing and drying machine Full kitchen Luxury double walk-in shower Location close to the East entrance to Mount Royal Park and not too far from the old town 2 complimentary laundry pods 2 complimentary water bottles The BAD: Check-in process was exceptionally complicated, with photos of photo ID and selfie with same ID requested about 3 days before and required to be submitted at least 24 hours before our stay Large number of homeless adding unpleasant smell and noise right around the property. AC is broken - works down to about 72 but if you try go go lower, it gets really loud. I have one of these split-mini units and know that when operating properly, you can use a lower temperature. Busy street noises The Mount Royal Cross is visible from the room, but view of construction/demolition across the street had us keep the drape down most of the time. WiFi had to be rebooted by management, so didn't have access to it the first day Fireplace has a secret switch which you can only find lying on your back with your head under it and a flashlight. It had been left off. Batteries missing in one remote and dead in fireplace one Toilet paper worse than public restroom (BYO for sure!) Couch material was disintegrating and left black scabs all over the place.

Mostly enjoyable stay. Positive: Clean building Spaciousness Modern, industrial design Well- appointed kitchen Modern appliances Huge bathroom and shower Super comfortable king-sized bed Walking distance from bus, metro, grocery stores, bars, etc Negatives Vinyl upholstering on the couch is peeling very badly. Patches of vinyl all over the floor. Walls needed dusting (dust very visible on dark walls) and under the couch needed to be cleaned. I was insulted and harassed few times by the homeless. I also saw them throwing beer cans at moving vehicles. Waking up to yelling and shouting from the street. As a former Montrealer who grew up in this neighborhood I am appalled at how badly it has deteriorated. The city claims it has plans to solve homeless problems but it does absolutely nothing about the filth they leave behind. Plates of uneaten food, urine stains and smells abound on the sidewalks. Nice location sad situation.

Had a great stay at MiltonParc. The host is incredibly responsive and the instructions for everything were clear. The place looks exactly like the photos and was very clean. Central location that allows you to walk or take transit to a number of neighborhoods. Only thing to note is that there are some groups that gather outside the building and nearby corners. Overall would stay there again!

Positive: The apartment was fabulous. Well appointed. Roomy. Great king size bed. Large bathroom with double shower. Good size living and combined kitchen area. Even had a washing machine and dryer. Entry was via key pads which worked smoothly. Negative: The location of the apartment was not quite as good as expected. The area was a lower socioeconomic area reflected by the activity on the street.

Fantastic Stay
The apartment is really nice and well put together. If you're looking for a city living experience this place nails it. The dual sink and dual shower in bathroom were a welcome touch. I wish I could bring the water pressure back home with me. It was great to have a separate living area and bedroom - this is the primary reason I stayed here vs a hotel. The two large TVs make rest time a little more enjoyable. The kitchen was well-equipped for our needs (dishes, pots, pans, flatware, and drinkware. The washer and dryer were a life-saver. The room came with two laundry pods and two dishwasher pods - an appreciated extra. There were a couple of cosmetic maintenance touch-up opportunities, but nothing that took away from our experience. Construction is taking place across the street as of the spring of '23, but the noise was only present during the workday while we were mostly out experiencing the city. There were more homeless/mentally ill on the streets on this block than you'd like to see, but they never bothered us past making us a little uncomfortable - this also served as a point of discussion for us as we walked through the city, more than anything, it is sad. In summary, it was fantastic stay. For someone who lives in the suburbs and has never lived in a downtown environment, this was a treat. It's so cool to tuck away into a little coded entrance to a nice room. Also, while we explored a variety of restaurants while there, don't neglect the nearby options. We really enjoyed our stops at FreshMint, serving La Fabrique bagels and Cacao 70, which shares an entrance to MiltonParc. Last thing I'll say, if you're in town and have time - try to grab a dinner at Foiegwa and let the bartenders at the Cloakroom bar craft your custom drink.

Negative: côté nettoyage des oublis ,machine à café pas nettoyée,lave vaisselle pas vidé (verres plein de liquide ) micro ondes, linge ds le lave linge ,lavabo bouché (il y en a 2 heureusement ..) beaucoup de bruit exterieur, ns étions côte av du parc. triple vitrage? côte situation, les SDF autochtones au pied de l immeuble ,ou à quelques mètres ,hurlant complétement saouls jusqu 'a tard la nuit...les voitures klaxonnant pour les éviter........très dommage pour le loft car bien situé ds le centre et bien triste pour ces pauvres inuits.

The location is also prime —there are so many restaurants, salons and grocery stores around so you never really have to worry about anything. Very happy with my stay. Check in instructions were straightforward and delivered timely. The location was convenient for me and my family. The space itself was very nice, perfectly clean. Plenty of space for the family to relax as well as a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. It was nice having the television options a couple of nights during our stay -- it allowed us to hang out together instead of retreating to individual electronics. The apartment was very warm our first night but Alex responded and took care of the problem quickly. Highly recommend this location to other visitors -- I would definitely return.

I was a little skeptical and a little scared since I had never stayed at an Airbnb, but my stay in Montreal was amazing! I didn’t have any problems checking in and the space is just like in the pictures. One night we bought wine and forgot a corkscrew, to my surprise there was one in one of the drawers. Everything was well stocked so I thought that was Very thoughtful. I encountered no problems and didn’t have to contact the host at all during my stay. So thank you for everything. I would definitely stay here again!

My boyfriend and I stayed at this Airbnb for a week over the Christmas holidays and I have to say, after staying at numerous Airbnb locations this way BY FAR the BEST we have ever stayed at!!! Everything is exactly as pictured, extremely clean, stylish and truly in a perfect location with everything you could ever need a short walk away. I also had my car and street parking was very easy to find. Everything from the linens, cookware and decor was amazing. It really felt like we were staying in a luxurious loft. I would highly suggest this Airbnb or any other Simplissimo property to anyone who is looking for an extraordinary place to stay in Montreal. I will definitely rebook in the future. Thank you Simplissimo for your impeccable service!

Property is 20 min walk from downtown and surrounded by supermarkets and cafes, a large number of these are open 24/7 too. Apartment looked exactly as pictured, maybe a little smaller. Fire place is fake but still looks cool. There are no laundry soap and products to clean the apartment. Bare this in mind if you do cooking or want to use the towels more frequently as you will have to purchase stuff to actually clean it. A sponge and a little washing up liquid was provided which came in handy. TV channels are very limited but the bedroom TV does play Netflix. Enjoyed the stay in the apartment. Was very sleek and the hosts responded very quickly to any concerns I had. WIFI was fast too. Would stay again.

This apartment is safe, modern, and in a great location. It seemed a little dusty in the kitchen and floors but overall, cleanliness was great. The host is responsive, which is wonderful! Parking can be a little tough. We parked in a lot down the street for 20 CAD/day.

Great location - close to the Metro and downtown and there is a corner store right next door. We experienced a number of frustrating hiccups during our stay but they did their best to find a solution. There is another hotel named Parc Hotel within steps of this one but make sure you do not go there - you will know you are at the wrong placel if you have to climb a very long, steep set of stairs. The only downfalls are the unit could use a new mattress, a selection of pillows, and more blankets and towels. Having bottles of water available to guests upon arrival would also be helpful.

Overall, this was a great home base for our Montreal get away. The location is within walking distance of many attractions including Old Montreal and Mount Royal and central to other interesting neighbourhoods. The loft was as advertised. Information about check in and check out was inconsistent amongst platforms and should be updated— but not a big deal. More quantity of essential amenities (coffee, toilet paper, etc.) would be nice, but rather than hassle we were okay with purchasing our own. The kitchen was very well equipped. This location does not have the “personal feel” that you encounter with some AirBnB rentals, but as long as that’s not what you’re looking for and prefer privacy, we think it was a great option.

Plus has all posiible equipment to cook, clean, wash, store and live a regular life away from home. Will be a great place to stay long term. Supermarket down the street. Price was reasonable. Yan barely responded within an hour as add states, but that didn't bother me much. Got email with directions of how to get in. Nespresso machine had no coffee. That was my wifes only complain. I don't drink coffee, so it didn't bother me much. Starbucks is accross the street if needed. Overall great apartment. Recommended.

We were within walking distance of the Metro, attractions such as the Musee des Beaux Arts and Parc Mont Royal, as well as the awesome restaurants on Rue Saint Laurent. When we come back to Montreal, we will try to stay here again if it's available.

Loved the room and all amenities. The suite was spacious, clean and modern. Bed was very comfortable with a great bathroom. I would give this a 5 star if located in a better place and had available parking. There were numerous homeless gatherings the second you walked downstairs and out the door. The parking garage access proved to be a "harassment" when coming and going. Great room though that was very clean!

Malheureusement on n'a pas réussit à dormir . Certe c'est propre mais aucunement fiable pour la nuit . On n'a eu un bruit provenant de notre propre chambre plus de 3 heures d'attente pour qu'un membre du staff vienne ( il n'est pas venu) donc j'ai appelé et essayer de parler avec lui. Il me promets de m'appeler pour un remboursement il ne tient pas parole je suis partie de l'hébergement tard le soir la tête qui me fesait terriblement mal . Certe c'est propre mais mise à part le bruit de la chambre c'est un hotel mal situé beaucoup de bruit de l'exterieur et on n'entends meme nos voisins . Il n'on aucun pouvoir pour le bruit extérieur certe mais celui de ma chambre ils ne sont pas venu le réglé et m'on laissé me fatiguer à les attendre et ne m'on toujours pas remboursé .

This unit is literally the best. When I walked in I wasn’t too convinced but after 10 mins of being there and inspecting the place, I fell in love with it. Cozy and spacious. I love love the bedroom and the washroom. Only isssue I ran into was that the kitchen sink was draining pretty slowly. But other than that, I would high recommend this place- Especially to couples. I can’t wait to return back !

Very nice loft! The elevator didn’t work when we arrived so it was a bit problematic we had to climb the stairs at first but later at night it started to work. Also, our door make a very loud noise when opening and closing but overall the loft was very nice and had everything and it was not expensive! Thanks for the nice stay.

Hidden Gem
The place is hard to find. Don't look for a "hotel" - or any sign of one. Just look for the House number (over the door inside an entrance) and ignore the surroundings. Once inside, you will find a real gem, modern, comfortable, well equipped. And if you have a problem, someone answers the phone and sorts it out. Shower is great: bed super comfortable; kitchen is great. What's not to like.

At first I was a little apprehensive about the virtual check in with photo ID especially with all the internet hacking. All went great! Clear communication and direction made it seamless. The suite was clean & comfortable. Having the services within walking distance made the stay even more pleasant. Just a few housekeeping suggestions: 1) a tea towel in the kitchen instead of using a hand towel from the bathroom. 2) clearly identify the lotion and soap in the dispensers by the bathroom sinks as they are in the shower. Use different colour if possible because it’s my impression that the solutions got mixed .... 3) for the non technical person, please provide clear instructions for the heating system. 4) note to self, make sure your phone is fully charged so you have the access code to the building and unit and have it written and kept with you at all times. I didn’t get locked out but could image how stressful it could have been. I would recommend this location. Enjoy your stay. From a Montrealer!

The apartment was very nice. The appliances all worked and the apartment was clean. The layout took advantage of the older architecture and added modern stylings . Loved the bathroom. The only negatives are well outside the control of the owners. The street is loud. The other guests were loud. Homeless people live in the covered entrance. But the location is an easy walk to all amenities. We would return.

The bed sheets gave me and my girlfriend rug burn and the pillows could use some work. Other than that though the king bed was very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was awesome and the bathroom was amazing. In all we enjoyed our stay.
