    Positive: Lors de la réservation avec booking, Il n'a pas été évoqué une caution de 300 dollars Can supplémentaire. L'adresse est pas précise pour la situation géographique, Personne pour vous accueillir avec plusieurs digicodes à l'entrée. Plusieurs portes qui ne sont pas précisées pour accéder à l'appartement ... Bref vraiment très difficile ! Sinon l'appartement est très bien placé à 50m de la rue Ste Catherine et parfait pour 4 personnes ! Negative: Le système d'accès à l'appartement lors de l'arrivée !!

  16. Super Lage, aber etwas laut!

    Positive: Die Lage ist super!!! Negative: Wie bereits in anderen Kommentaren erwähnt, gibt es keinen Aufzug. Das macht es schwierig mit schweren Koffern. Früh morgens gibt es Lärm vom Parkplatz nebenan. Die Appartments sind hellhörig.

    Positive: Great location. Building had character. Large bedrooms. Generally clean and tidy. Negative: Main living space quite small. Decoration is minimalist but also sparse. Cupboards, sinks, etc and furniture need upgrading or replacing. Sink and bathtub blocked. Shower leaks badly. Bathroom floor tiles cracked and grout missing. Because AC units are window based, a lot of external noise can be heard. I expected more for the relatively high price.

  22. Parfait pour un séjour de 5 jours. Comme à la maison

    Positive: L’emplacement est top, métro Peel (ligne verte) à 2 mn à pied. Proche de la rue Sainte Catherine, restos, bars. Pas de local bagage mais un service de consigne à 500 m de l’appartement. Pour recevoir les codes d’accès. , il faut une connexion wifi pour ouvrir le boarding pass à 15h. Si vous venez en train, la gare est à 10mn à pied. L’appartement est conforme au descriptif, bien aménagé m, ustensiles de cuisine, etc. Parfait pour un séjour de 4/5 jours pour visiter la ville. Machine Nespresso. Negative: Assez bruyant car donne sur une cours avec la ventilation de l’autre immeuble à hauteur des fenêtres. Une clim (tuyau sortant de la fenêtre) étant installée les fenêtres restent ouvertes Bruyant jour et nuit. Boules Quies obligatoire. Appartement conforme au descriptif mais quelques rénovations seraient souhaitables ( manque joint carrelage sol salle de bain entre autres)

  25. Great spot for 4 people. Spacious and clean.

    Positive: location was perfect and central. Spacious apartment. Nice having 2 bathrooms. Negative: 3 floors to climb. Husband had hip surgery 2 weeks before so was tough for him. Small bathroom door was almost impossible to open and enter and close unless you are very slim, due to design of bathroom. Cabinet above sink in this bathroom was too big over hanging sink which added to tightness. Mirror on wall would have been better. Maybe change door to not open inwards? But still did appreciate having 2 toilets.

    Pretty nice and spacious place in a great location. 30 second walk to metro and an assortment of restaurants. Accessing the building / unit is a bit of a process although good for security. Two different codes to get through two different doors then another code to get inside the unit. The access code for the unit was not provided upon check-in but a maid let us in. The host was really responsive to fix it though, so not that big of a deal. Beds aren’t very comfortable but good enough for a weekend stay. Unit itself is tidy, spacious and clean and building was decent…saw a few mice including a dead one when we were leaving. Overall, not the best place ever but not awful. Good for a guys weekend for sure!

  40. Great location - not a great stay

    The good: Thai is a very central location, close to the subway, still a walking distance from the old part of town, close to many restaurants and shops. Not so good: The listing includes various photos and, let’s say, we didn’t get to stay in one of the more updated units. But the rooms were comfortable and accommodated our family of four. The apartment was clean, the bed linens very clean as well, and the beds comfortable. The main bathroom is a bit tired and so are the common spaces. The kitchen/living area felt very constrained with a very small window that’s not meant to provide a view - barely some natural light. The really bad: the last night there was a loud party in one of the units above - even thought parties aren’t allowed. The people walking and moving furniture in top of us, people screaming in the hallways and coming in and out of the building. We would not return and I’d not recommend it to families with small kids. If noise is not an issue, then it’s ok for the price.

  48. If disappointment was a definition it would be this booking…

    Positive: Bed was ok, only the 2 rooms we had were shown in the photos we saw. Location great. Negative: When I booked the apartment, the photos looked really good, but when we arrived, the apartment was totally different from what I saw. As a French travel influencer, I stayed at a lot of places, but this one is so far one of the worst I’ve ever been to. The shower was horrible, the kitchen didn’t looked like the photos, most of the amenities looked broken, the door of the washroom was broken too, it was so cold even if we turned up the heat. Also, there is a huge space between the floor and the entrance door so you can hear every single neighbours’ noise which is really annoying (& they can hear you too from the outside obviously), and overall the apartment is not soundproof at all. Also, the parking mentioned is a public parking where you’ll pay $25 a day. The unit wasn’t so clean, the windows of the rooms were so dirty, most of the walls were cracked and dirty, and some spots were badly painted to cover something underneath. I had to book something quick for the weekend in last minute, so I didn’t took the time to look at the reviews, but I wish I did. I only had a look at them when we arrived and saw the booking, they are literally copy/pasting their response to the people that are complaining about their stay. Which is also the reason why I didn’t bother to send them a message during my stay to complain, I was there only 2 nights and I knew I would only waste my time and energy because they would do nothing about it. Anyway, I honestly don’t recommend this unit, I don’t think it will improve in the future regarding the old reviews. Please save your time and energy, book somewhere else, because you can definitely find a way better apartment for so much cheaper.

    Positive: L'emplacement est exceptionnel, à côté du métro, du centre de Montréal et des commerces. La literie est bonne, les chambres sont grandes et l'appartement est bien aménagé. Negative: Il y a une fuite au niveau du pare douche, le joint semble usé et donc il y a une fuite lorsque l'on prend sa douche. Les prises électriques de la cuisine fonctionnent mal ou pas.

Its literally 5-10 min walking distance of everything you’d want to do in downtown MTL. One issue is that the hot water stopped working during our stay and the water pressure in general was bad. The host called and offered to relocate us but we only had one night left so said dont worry about it. 4/5 stars!

    We had a good experience at our stay. The apartment was clean and the only thing that stood out was the unit itself needed some fixing up (paint, leak repair) and updating. Besides that everything was fine and the host responded quickly when we had questions. The location was excellent! Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance. It's located in a very busy area but on a side street so it was quiet. Just be aware that there are stairs and no elevator (3rd floor) if you have lots of luggage like we did.

    Positive: The location was exceptional. The building security was good. The bed was comfortable, sheets were clean as well as towel linens. Negative: The photos were very beautiful and taken when the accommodation was newly renovated. The apartment was not as fresh as advertised. It was tired and needed some deep cleaning. There were broken floor tiles in the washroom, the vanity drawers had delaminated due to moisture damage and the glass shower door did not have a good seal. Water leaked onto the floor having to be mopped up using clean towels. The windows needed a good wash inside and out.

    You couldn't ask for a better location, but the inside of the apartment did not meet our expectations based on the photos in the listing. The place appears very well used and in need of some TLC to refresh it all - new paint, fix up the tile floor in the bathroom, the shower leaked onto the bathroom floor, new furniture in the sitting area.

    Positive: Excellent location. Next to a metro station.(subway) and food fashion etc. Negative: The state of the flat. The pictures are beautiful yes but they don't zoom in on the many many many defaults. Tiles not finished in the bathroom, very dirty curtain rail in kitchen. Not explained where to throw away the garbage. Cannot make the bedroom dark, blinds are not useless. Bad isolation and window with airco installation hanging on, you hear everything, especially from the garbage truck that passed by at 5h30.

    Positive: O sistema de código para entrar no prédio e para entrar no apartamento funciona bem. Apartamento bem localizado, no centro de Montreal e perto de algumas atrações e de metrô. Negative: Apartamento estava sujo, com muita poeira e teias de aranha. O piso do banheiro estava com cerâmica rachada, bem no centro do banheiro, e quando pisávamos o piso cedia, arranhando o pé. O ar condicionado indicado no anúncio era um aparelho portátil de refrigeração, extremamente barulhento. Não havia ar condicionado e tampouco aparelho portátil no segundo quarto. A geladeira não abria porque o trinco da porta descolou na primeira tentativa de abrí-la (e havia cola velha, indicando conserto anterior).

Negative: Nous n'avons pas apprécié les fenêtres qui ne ferment pas correctement, n'isolent pas de l'extérieur et notamment du bruit du groupe de climatisation placé en toiture du bâtiment voisin sur lequel on a une vue directe. Sur le descriptif est mentionné appartement climatisé or il s'agit d'un climatiseur mobile présent uniquement dans l'une des chambre avec une installation artisanale qui ne permet pas la fermeture de le fenêtre et qui fait énormément de bruit...

Negative: There’s no elevator No garbage cans in washrooms No instructions on what to do with the garbage/recycling No body soap/conditioning (only Shampoo) Very noisy at 4am, almost every night. we assume those were garbage collection/ or construction trucks? But you could upgrade the windows to minimize the noise.

    Positive: The two bedroom was ideal for our little family. One of the TVs couldn’t connect to the internet/Netflix but it didn’t stop us from entertaining our little one. Great location and ideal for walks downtown. Right beside st Catherine with loads of shops and bubble tea spots! Very well placed to order in, really wide variety of choices. The fully loaded kitchen was a big bonus, great stay, would book again! Negative: Only downside was no elevator (our room was on the third floor) and had to run in and out & across the common outdoor area all the way to the front for deliveries. Also, water pressure was very low for the shower. The sinks are extremely small to wash your face but it’s still doable. However, it’s minor details, we made the most out of our stay.

    Positive: Well located, easy to access and matches the advertising online. Well equipped kitchen. Negative: The apartment was cosy but has seen better days - lots of scuffs, marks, broken items. But mostly it was the vibration that was present throughout our stay and very noticeable that was the least pleasant. Like a washer on another floor that made the whole kitchen vibrate and the over clink for the whole duration of our stay.

One thing to note is that the unit assigned to us was a few stories up, so it may not be convenient for families with babies or elderly or handicapped.

Fortunately, we have brought our own towels.

The host sent a message checking up which is nice. Didn’t see any tourist information either that would have been really helpful. Over all it was a decent stay. Would stay again, but for the money I just hope the hole in the wall is fixed.

    Great location for many of the fun things to do, right downtown and within walking distance for many things. Clean place, a tad on the smaller side but nothing that would be unbearable. Great communication and secure building, felt very safe staying there and communication was great from check-in to check-out. Lots of suggestions and help when we needed it. The only thing to be aware of before booking would be that you will have to pay for parking because there is nothing around that is free since it is right in the middle of the city, but there was a cheap place right by the building which made it easy to get in and out of the city.

    This place is exactly what you need if you're looking for a place that is in a good location (close to downtown, close to shopping, close to transportation). The hosts are very responsive and the place had everything you might need, including dishware, utensils, and cutlery if you decide to do some cooking during your travels. The apartment is very cozy, and perfect for up to 4 people. The inside was very clean and well kept, modern feel on the inside, but rustic in the outside to give you that Montreal feel. I will definitely be staying here again when I visit Montreal!

    We recently stayed here for 4-5 days. The apartment was in a fantastic location, walking distance to absolutely everything (including a convenience store and bar/restaurant immediately underneath). The bedrooms were very large and spacious with extra blankets etc. The living area is smaller then we expected, the three of us could barely all fit on the couch (and we are not big people). One of the bathrooms (with just the toilet) is also very tiny and difficult to get in and out of. The other bathroom is much bigger so the small bathroom wasn’t such a problem for us. Unfortunately the building/ apartment had water pressure issues while we were there that left us without water to the shower for 3 of the days. Alex came out to look at the issue which was greatly appreciated. When we did have water in the shower the pressure was very weak and took along time to get luke warm. We understand this was getting fixed on the day we left. As mentioned in some of the other reviews there are a lot of stairs and no elevator. For us we had 3 big suitcases so it was difficult navigating the 5 flights of stairs! The apartments also aren’t particularly sound proof so you can hear music etc from other units/ people coming and going up and down the stairs. For us this wasn’t really an issue as the location was amazing and we spent most of the time seeing Montreal! Would definitely recommend for location and bedroom size!

    I think the location was ideal because I had a conference at McGill university and it was only a 6 min walk to my conference locale. And there were definitely a lot of restaurants and cafes nearby and a grocery store about 20 min away. I think this is a bare bones operation--definitely fine if you are self sufficient but no additional info or amenities beyond the unit itself. The only issue I had with the unit was the thinness of the ceilings/floors--I could hear the person upstairs walk in and turn on their music at 11pm and that was after I had tried to go to sleep at 10:30pm, so not pleasant but I don't know that there's much that the owners of the Air BnB can do about that.

    Yan was great to deal with and responded quickly to all my inquires. The location was perfect for our trip. The apartment is on the third floor in a building with no elevator which wasn't a huge deal for us but may be for some. I was happy there were laundry facilities in the building however it isn't in the apartment. I did some laundry super early in the morning when the laundry room wasn't quite as busy. The appartment was clean and comfortable but the beds were very firm, which was fine with me but not so much for my colleague. The apartment was quiet for the majority of the time with the exception of the early morning. The upstairs neighbors are early risers and their floors are extremely creaky so it very hard to sleep during the hour or so each morning. Hot water was also a bit of an issue. We had to run the water for quite some time before the water became warm and it never really ever got hot. Showers took a while to get going. Overall the apartment worked well for our trip because of it's location. With a few tweaks this could be a great pad.

The apartment is in the heart of the downtown area, two blocks away from the hockey arena and within walking distance to dozens upon dozens of restaurants and bars and only five to ten minute cab ride north to the popular nightlife neighborhood. Parking is not free, but there are two lots within ten feet of the apartment door. The apartment is comfortable and clean, the mattresses are firm, be forewarned. Communication with the host was great. Overall a good stay that had me considering buying the apartment!!

It allowed us to be comfortable both in the apartment and while visiting various parts of Montréal, as all were easily accessible. The only issue was that the amenities and supplies in the apartment were a bit lacking, but this was just a minor inconvenience.

Water issues, no cold in the kitchen and two days before we had hot showers. Huge problems with noise from apartment upstairs at night. Mattresses were super firm, we liked them... Manager answered and attempted to solve issues promptly... but there were a few. We never did locate the laundry... no dishwasher in the unit.

    On the morning of of our stay before checking in I receive a call from an agent stating that there was a safety issue that developed, that the ceiling was falling down, and we could no longer stay in the two bedroom apartment we booked. They had no more two bedroom apartments available and offered two one bedroom apartments one the same floor, which would work as we had 4 adults. He said he would send pictures of apartments available and pick which ones...I was about to get on a flight and told him I’d be awhile getting back to him. When I had cell service after the flight he had already book me for two apartments in another complex further away from where we wanted to stay. When I asked about the apartment options I was told these were the only two! This meant more walking to and from Bell Centre and other areas, I asked for a discount or a 3 hour later check out time and was not given an answer via text, called and was told they would get back to me, never heard from them, called again and after after arguing with the agent he finally gave me a 15% discount for all the inconvenience. The apartments are very nice but the service wasn’t good

    We were very happy with the location of the apartments. We had access to restaurants, grocery stores, transit and attractions - Bell Centre. Alex and Cecilia were awesome at communicating how to get into the building. We just found that the air conditioner wasn’t big enough for the apartment to cool it off. As well, we would have like more soap dispensers, toilet paper and towels.

    Honestly the Price was right and the location was great - That said the actual apartment was only far however lovable. Don't expect a palace because you'll be disappointed. When they say it fits only 4 they are right. The main TV is almost eye bulging close - The smallest bathroom door did not close. The larger bathroom had water stains under the sink and one of the towels was actually wet. All I can say here is check everything - towels - bed sheets etc. The first night someone knocked on the door to inform use they were going to have a "small party". She left her phone number and name and said if it got to loud we should text or call. WOW - it was loud - People up and down the stairs - Music thumping away - loud voices and laughter - It was actually on and off but I woke at least once an hour or more - Cigarette and Pot was the wafted through the cracks in the front door - The rest of the stay was quite enough. The court yard was not shoveled well and we had to be careful on the ice. The entrance Door to the building would scrape the cement and we thought it was a dog at first but the door made this piercing sound. It would not close fully and people would just leave it open which made the halls pretty cold. We didn't mind the three flights of stairs and the neighborhood seemed pretty safe. It's close to restaurants, stores and other sites. We went to see Mumford and Sons (which was great). The apartment is 10 minutes from the stadium. Public transportation is great and you are only steps from the subway - and not much further to buses. WIFI was good - Funny story - We hung at night and our son watched Netflix. He found the DC series Titans - When he got back to the states - No titan series - It was only released in Europe. Anyway, If you want to save some $$ so you can spend it on other things this is the place to stay. As for staying here again - nope - but as long as you go into it eyes wide open and maybe bring your towels - it's Montreal on a budget.

    Bruyant troisième sans ascenseur (avec les valises pas top!) mal équipé (pas de théière pas de cafetière peu de serviettes de bain...) fenêtres qui ne s'ouvrent pas et sales un spot et une prise électrique sur deux qui fonctionne etc... bref seul l'emplacement est parfait

    I had stay there for tow days and when I arrived there was everything not clean like towels some of them had dirt in them and Bed sheet had not good smell .at the same way . the sofa had like pet hair above it the big problem there when I checked out my cost was 325 they took from my creadet card 175 extra that because what they said I left the evon on but I did not they want to take other people money only. I do not gonna stay there anymore.
