  2. This hotel has a nice outlook and cool design, but everything else is non user friendly and there’s no service. Horrible

    Positive: The location is good Negative: The WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE There were only one pair of slippers in the hotel, when I asked them to give us another pair (our room was for two ppl) they told us to upgrade… Turns out they are willing to give us another pair on the next day. But It doesn’t make sense to provide one pair of slippers instead of two and ask customers to “upgrade”. The design was unfriendly too, the bathtub has a transparent glass that people could see the inside. The bed sheets are unclean, there were dusts everywhere… I even got rashes because of that. People gave them high ratings for a tote bag, don’t trust the ratings.

  3. Appartement de Qualité, confortable, propre et très fonctionnel. Beaucoup de place.

    Positive: Concept intéressant du studio haut de Gamme. Avec des prestations de qualité. Douche intégrée à la chambre. La partie Cuisine assez complète. Negative: Le lavabo au milieu de la chambre est "intéressant" mais finalement pas pratique. La douche coulait dans la chambre.

  4. Rip off

    Positive: No comment Negative: Pricing was completely misleading, it stated CAD169 discounted from above 200 but stated in small letters below that it comes with additional taxes and fees, which I did not see/ check. When confirming the booking, I was suddenly charged taxes AND cleaning fee of 80 CAD. So the overall rate per night was actually 50% more expensive than what was advertised with. Which “hotel” asks for 80,- cleaning fee? Never heard of…. I was complaining but got sent an example of a luxury hotel with a room rate of 800 CAD and similar amount of taxes in absolute terms to make me explain this is normal procedure. Again, this was trying to be misleading as the absolute tax amount was so high as room rate was significantly higher. So all in all completely overpaid for what I got and was ready to spend.

  9. My stay at David Hotel was really nice.

    Positive: I loved that it was self contained and had more than enough of everything needed to have an easy and comfortable stay. It was also in an excellent location to walk around and explore the old town on foot, which is exactly what I wanted. Negative: The only issue was the loud buzzing of the cooler/fridge/freezer that happened every 10 minutes or so. The buzzing would only last about 10 seconds but was loud enough to affect sleep during the night.

  10. Très belle chambre, propre

    Positive: Le service de Nadal elle a été geniale. Negative: La complexité de votre système de réservation J'ai demandé une extension d'une nuit, le prix de la deuxième nuit n'avait pas de rapport. Dite merci à Nadal, sans elle j'aurais simplement quitté.

    Positive: Toda la estancia era cómoda y bien equipada de utensilios, ropa de aseo,etc pero había poco café. Negative: Las instrucciones para el Check-in están activas el mismo día desde las 3 p.m. y si no tienes teléfono con acceso a datos es muy complicado, tuvimos que buscar un local con Wifi para poder acceder.

    2 day stay at the David Hotel - great facilities, great location. Loved having a full kitchen, laundry and funky rain shower. Quiet and comfortable.Would stay her again for sure.

  28. Overpriced and Overrated - Never Again

    Positive: Location Comfortable Bed Very well outfitted kitchen Cleanliness Lighting options Negative: Several design functionality flaws of room layout. No daily maid service. We were not made aware that room would never be serviced or supplies replenished during our entire stay. Frustrating, inconvenient and time consuming to have to text to have issues resolved. In the abscence of a front desk, ability to make a phone call to live help would have been much better. Sink in an island in middle of room? No mirror close to it for shaving, etc? Lack of drawers to store clothing. Shower water leaks into bedroom. Had to use towels on floor to minimize seepage into room. Shower faucet function unnecessarily complicated. No Basic TV channels available. Really? Stingy amount of supplies. I mean 2 bottles of water and 4 coffee pods for 4 days for a couple? One pair of slippers for a couple? Lovely bathrobes provided...good fit for someone who is extra small. Amazon never worked for us. No WiFi connection or instructions to resolve. Drawer freezer and fridge very nice except for the difficult settings. Had issues with eliminating constant beep. Lost sleep over this. Again no instructions provided. Energy conservation measures appreciated but do hallways need to be as dark as a dungeon?

    This chic modern hotel is right in the heart of old Montreal. Dozens of great restaurants in the area. it’s walking distance to the harbor and the metro, the Cathedral and several plazas.

    Positive: location fully stocked kitchen. high quality amenities beautiful lighting. chic design. nice washer and dryer in unit cool hallways. thoughtful labeling to help you figure things out. Negative: whoever designed bathroom must never used one. ridiculous design. shower flooded room every time no matter how careful no mirror for the sink to shave or get ready. no places to set bathroom items. tv had no subs beyond YouTube and Netflix lol no spare blankets. why is this listed as a “hotel” it is not. there’s no staff. it’s apartment in a building designed for short term.

    We loved the central location of our studio apartment in old Montreal. The studio itself was fully stocked with thoughtful touches, the bed was heavenly, and the fragrance throughout reminded me of a spa, very relaxing!

  62. Absolute Gem in Old Montreal

    What a great space to stay in Old Montreal! Easy walking distance to waterfront, cathedral, metro and great bakeries and restaurants. The studio apt. decor was super cool, more than roomy enough, kitchen fully equipped with modern appliances (finally a sharp chef’s knife) and spotlessly clean. No question we’ll be back, easily 5 stars!!

  63. Short stay

    Apartment very nice well fitted out. Had to change my stay and they were very obliging. Apartment in the old town within easy walk of old port, restaurants and other sites worth a visit. Parking nearby which makes handling of luggage easy.
