A very nice ultra contemporary studio that we enjoyed very much
Positive: 1. Location: convenient. Walk to Old Montreal & to several good restaurants and a convenient store just a block away 2. Excellent soundproof Windows. Did not hear the screeching sound from the construction 1/2 block away. 3. High end Appliances: Maytag for washing machine & dryer. Kitchen Aid for customized drawer fridge. 4. The kitchen stuffs. 5. Nice furniture. 6. I love the details: dish detergent, paper napkins, all the flatware, nice dishes, dish detergent, laundry detergent. 7. The robes, disposable slippers 8. Spacious, clean. 9. Very nice hand soap & bath gel. 10. Good communication. Questions were responded to within a reasonable time. Negative: A few small things: 1. Not comfortable w/ the see-thru shower. 2. Don't have Kleenex tissues. 3. The dryer is stacked on top of the washing machine so it is a climb on a metal stool to reach the operating buttons for shorties like us. 4. The detergent pod jars need to be labeled for laundry vs dish washer. :) 5. The hallway is interesting but kind of dark for my style, feeling that I was entering a Dracula's mansion than entering an ultra contemporary studio.

It's OK if you like grey.
Positive: Very well-equipped: 2-burner range, oven, small microwave, kettle, dishwasher, a pair(!) of pull-out fridge/freezers, washer, dryer, iron, even an ironing board. Very fast WiFi. Two blocks from Crew Collective & Café - excellent coffee and croissants! Negative: Curb appeal is poor. Signage is way out of date: "A hotel, a restaurant, a speakeasy, opening 2021". The advertised website (THEDAVIDHOTEL.COM) doesn't exist. The hallways are poorly lit, grim, unwelcoming. Like you're entering a prison. The room color scheme is grey on grey, with accents of grey (and some fake green ivy). Have to crawl over the furniture to get at the windows and close the drapes. No towel bars. A hidden light switch you'll probably never find. Parking can be a challenge.

We were shocked how well stocked the kitchen and whole room was. Loved the full size washer/dryer.

Positive: Best accommodations. This is my 2nd time staying at David’s. Super clean and super comfortable and private. You have everything you need. The location is perfect. Just wish they had bath tubs!! Overall 10/10. Negative: Nothing much. There weren’t any ice this time😅

My partner and I had such a lovely time at David Hotel as we greatly enjoyed all the amenities they had to offer. Located on a quiet street my partner and I found it very easy to walk to China Town and the Subway. Pretty much within walking distance of everything. We both appreciated the amount of thought put into the layout of the room and interior. The amount of storage space was great and although we didn't use the kitchen it was fully equipped with everything you would need to whip up a nice meal. Although the hotel room was filled with great amenities the shower was by far my favourite part of the hotel. Something about the iridescent glass and the design of the shower made us feel luxurious. The only thing my partner and I believe that is missing is a restaurant and maybe a pool if there is space for it. We both feel like these two amenities would enhance everyone's experience! Overall if you are looking for a nice place to stay in Montreal, definitely try Davids Hotel.

Excellent stay in a brilliant location!
My partner and I booked the David Hotel for three nights in January in Montreal. It was our first time in the city, and we thought the location was brilliant - it was in the heart of the old bit of Montreal, but the area felt safe and was close to several restaurants. There was a convenience store open late right down the road as well. The check in and check out instructions were sent to us promptly, and it was easy to navigate through them. With reference to the apartment itself, it was spectacular. It was very clean and grand, and the heating worked well. The bed was also cosy. 10/10 recommend!

Such a thoughtfully designed space. Whoever put this whole experience together, you have all my wonderment! Right from the beautifully fragrant entrance lobby, the super clean shared spaces, excellent communication and ease of access, the zero contact but available presence, the location of the hotel… The room was gorgeous. And yeah, I wish I could have stayed longer. You guys thought of everything a traveler might need. The TV near the reading nook?! Inspired. I hope you guys find a way to have a hotel everywhere.

Loft 38. A beautiful room, comfortable, great service and on top, a great location. Walking distance from everything. Everything, from check- in to check-out was well thought. All the restaurants and attractions are less than 500m away from the hotel. I would book again this place. Very worth it.
