Spacious suite near metro and highway
Positive: Great location close to metro station and supermarket. Private bathroom and full kitchen. Parking close by (paid extra), not covered or watched, but seemed safe enough. Negative: Very bright early in the morning - no way to darken the curtains or skylight. $300 damage deposit the morning of arrival was a surprise, thinking I already paid everything ahead of time. A bit noisy with neighbors and not soundproof to the hallway.

Positive: I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I love to walk so the location was perfect for me. I got to visit Verdun, Atwater, and St-Henri all by foot. There are lots of great places to get necessities, e.g., dollar stores, groceries, pharmacies, and the metro station. The unit was clean, had everything to feel at home, and the bed was comfortable. The check-in and out instructions were also very straightforward. Negative: Somethings that they should consider improving include the poor design of the shower door in the bathroom, patio, and their communication etiquette. Be ready to mop water because no matter the shower head option you use, that bathroom floods. Made showering very frustrating. Not sure how the other units were but the shower in my unit was a problem. The patio is also useless since there is no furniture. Looks to be the same for all their units. Also, the checkout confirmation text could be a little more polite.

The location is the key selling point to this Airbnb. You are a 45 second walk from the Metro station and directly underneath a Dollarama which is so convenient. The apartment was not as clean as it should have been. The sleeping pillows are not comfortable and the TV is very difficult to use (it’s cable, there are two remotes and no Netflix/modern channels). There is a nice outdoor area but you’re disallowed from smoking/vaping. If you want a stylish and convenient place to lay your head and aren’t too fussed with cleanliness/watching TV, this place is perfect. There was also a faint smell of smoke throughout the apartment. The host was super quick with responding which is always a bonus!

I will say the shower looked amazing, but couldn’t use all the features as the shower glass door wasn’t stable enough to catch the water. The bathroom was very spacious though for two people at a time which was great! The parking is okay. Wish it was a little more organized but all in all enjoyed my stay. And the hosts were very helpful.

Positive: Dans la colonne des plus, l'emplacement près du marché Attwater, l'espace du loft et le confort de la literie. Negative: J'ai trouvé détestable d'être accueilli par les contenants de poubelles et les odeurs nauséabondes qui vont avec. Il y a une cuisine munie d'un seul et unique petit poêlon. Pas de casseroles, de plaques ou de poêles dignent de ce nom. Les surfaces des armoires sont graisseuses. Les joints entourant le receveur de douche et la baignoire sont empreint de moisissures. Et les serviettes de bain en principe blanches sont grisâtres et usées. Finalement, le sofa est vraiment sale ce qui ne donne pas le goût de s'y installer. Tous ces détails sont faciles à améliorer et font toute la différence du monde.

Our stay in Montréal could not have been more amazing thanks to Les Lofts du Centre by Simplissimo! Their location was amazing—it was extremely close to the Metro and it was surrounded by so many great cafés and restaurants! The only thing we noticed was that some used towels were left in the space, but they did provide us with all new linens so they were touched or used. They were really responsive and they even provided a list of places close to their lofts to visit which we used during our stay and were not disappointed at all. My partner and I would definitely stay here again the next time we’re in Montréal!

Positive: The property was very quiet convenient and spacious, with a huge bathroom and phenomenal closet space. The kitchen was large and although it had the bare bones basics-was also very clean and spacious…but since the location is next door to a Dollarama - that helped a lot. —being less than a block from the metro or train was definitely a plus as we utilized that a lot to get around. —it was also very easy to get food deliveries at the property. —the air condition worked phenomenally well especially since there weather was very hot and humid. Negative: —The couch/sofa should be replaced with something newer and not so low to the ground. —There should be some outdoor patio furniture so you can sit out without getting a splinter from the untreated wood. —Staff should know how long guests are staying and accommodate them with extra dish washer pods or laundry pods and extra trash bags, etc. —Supplying basic needs like sugar and creamer for the coffee would have been great. —it would also be helpful if there were other or more options of English channels on the television to watch. Or have clear explicit instructions on how to mirror or screen share from tablet or smartphone

I felt like we were being watched at all times. There was no noise complaints or anything with us. We were very calm so I do not understand at all.

My boyfriend and I had a great stay at Les Lofts. We did have an issue with hot water in our unit, as well as a few damaged pieces in the loft. I did report the damaged items right as we started our stay just to ensure we weren’t charged for it. They were quick to accommodate us both when we ran into the situation with hot water! Otherwise, we had an amazing time. The loft is spacious, homey & a vibe overall! I definitely recommend to all couples!

Paper thin walls. If you're not a heavy sleeper, don't stay here.
Positive: The unit was pretty big, it had all the necessary itens (kitchen appliances, bathroom items etc) and the decoration overall was tasteful. Negative: Paper thin walls! You can hear EVERYTHING your neighbor does, even when they turn the light switch on and off. This made sleeping an absolute nightmare. It seems like they're inside your unit with you. For the 2 nights we stayed, our neighbor arrived at 2am and stayed up showering and walking around until at least 4am. It was hard to even complain because the person wasn't necessarily being obnoxious, it was just a matter of poor quality walls. If you're not a heavy sleeper, don't stay here.

Positive: Liked that it had easy access to all methods of transportation. Close to different local independently-owned restaurants and close to a convenience store. Dollarama is literally right next door. Also liked that I could get in touch with someone directly who answered my questions right away. Negative: No washing detergent is available and there were no dish towels. There are only a couple of small glasses and one tall glass. The shower was great but there was no place to put anything in the shower.

Positive: The location great. Negative: Stayed in unit 203 for 10 nights. The bed is broken on the right side and visible hair in sheets. Stain on couch quite visible Tv was not function for half our stay on day 5 it was finally fixed. The HDMI cable was broken. The dishwasher and washer does not fully clean. Stain clothes and towels. The units are not sound proof large party on unit 205 called 3 times security but could not do anything until police arrive 3 hours later. We’re not picky but the items above could be addressed since it’s a lucrative rental property. I requested a small discount 10 dollar each night for the tv not operational and they declined.

Positive: Très bien positionner. Proches d'un metro. Lit très confortables, entré de lumière naturel très bien. Majorité de ce qui est nécessaire en cuisine était présent. Good for the price
Positive: The place is modern and the location is nice - it’s just a short ride to downtown. The kitchen is nicely equipped to make a meal. They have parking behind the building for 20+tax per night. Negative: It wasn’t as clean as I expected it to be. There was hair on the bedsheets and the bathroom counter was dirty. One of the other lofts was having a party until 4 am which was really annoying and unsafe during a pandemic.

Positive: Good location. Easy to get in using the check-in method they provided. Staff were helpful on the phone. The place was very clean and well-organized. All in all would return if ever in the area again. Negative: The apartment's bathroom door (glass) did not fit the doorway properly and therefore couldn't close. This ultimately had very little impact on my overall enjoyment of the stay.

Positive: Really "moderne" flat. We're older and not quite as hip as this place was. That didn't lessen our satisfaction, however. One of the glass plate doors in the bathroom-closet didn't close properly and should be looked at, as well as the rocking toilet. Negative: No comment

Beautiful stay - slight problem with clean surfaces
We had a very nice comfortable stay at our loft. We had everything we needed and more. Unfortunately for us, some of our surfaces like coffee tables and nightstands weren’t thoroughly cleaned, they still had stains on them. Other than that we had a beautiful stay. If that wasn’t an issue, I would’ve rated 5 stars. Will most probably be back soon!

Our Wonderful Stay
We stayed at loft 203 from Feb 1st to Feb 4th. We really enjoyed our stay. The place was very nice and clean and well decorated. However, we found the dishes were dirty, we had to re wash everything and there were a few essential kitchen amenities that were missing, like kitchen mitts, measuring cup and scissors. We had to go to the Dollarama next door to buy the things we needed. Other than that, everything was great.

We really enjoyed our week-long stay at Lofts Du Centre and will stay there again next time we are in Montreal, or another place that Simplissimo manages. There were a couple of small things like: missing hand towels, needed more toilet paper, and ants appearing in the kitchen. We worried that by not having staff on premisis that this would be a problem, but I texted the phone number provided and all those issues were resolved within 24 hours. More towels and toilet paper showed up while we were out, and an exterminator was sent to take care of the ants. The apartment was lovely and clean, the bed was comfortable, and overall a great value and experience compared to a typical hotel. We enjoyed our experience and will return.

Nice but could be better
The space was large and decorated nicely with easy access to the Metro and town centre. Access was easy when we finally got the entry code but it was a little difficult communicating whilst we were in the country. We are from abroad so had no data and had to rely on wifi when available. We had a rigorous identification procedure which could have been requested weeks before so that it wasn't so difficult to do whilst travelling. When we got there the place was cleaned but not to a great standard. There were stains on the bedding. It could have been clean but white is prone to stains so was off putting. The man in contact with us was apologetic and sent the cleaners to change the sheets the day after. They changed the duvet sheet (but didn't make the bed) but nothing else as there weren't spares, so we weren't able to use one of the pillows as the dirty pillowcase wasn't changed. When we arrived after a long day out in the city, there was no toilet roll at all. I realise it is a self catering accommodation, but it would have been nice to have one or two rolls to get by. I've never been to a self catering place before that hasn't provided any. We ended up having to purchase an opened pack of toilet roll with the majority missing at a local convenience store (it was the only option at 9pm in the evening). Luckily we bought a fresh pack the day after and left it in the apartment for the next users! There was a mouldy cake and stale croissants also left in a kitchen drawer which was very off putting. There were no additional garbage bags to use (only a small kitchen trash can and the croissants took up the whole waste bin!). All in all the place was fairly unequipped, but it could be great if there was just a bit more attention to detail and a better cleaning company. There was also a party in the block the first night we were there which was really annoying! Not much they can do about that I suppose, perhaps more security?

Overall it was good loft experience for 4 nights. Basic neiborghood Metro/bus on the corner. Everyday farmers market - 1 metro stop. 3 day/weekly metro/bus pass big saving... Spacious clean loft with good deck. Easy to use instructions. Full equipped kitchen with all what you need. Contour had some stains. Very good bad/shower/large tv. Love skylight idea. Will come back.

Très propre, très joli, à proximité du métro, pharmacie et épicerie. Très insonorisé et système d’accès sans clé très facile. Beau balcon, appartement très éclairé et très grand. Par contre manque de papier toilette, pas de papier mouchoir et une seule débarbouillette. Somme toute, je le recommande sans hésiter.

The loft was great. Everything I wanted and more. Clean. Spacious. Quiet. The bed was so comfortable that I had a hard time getting up in the morning. The only negative is that I paid for a parking spot, but when I was leaving there was someone parked behind me. I called the rental service and was only able to leave a message, and nobody ever called me back. Eventually I found the car owner and they moved their car, but I lost 40 minutes and was late for my morning breakfast meeting. There has to be a better way to manage the parking.

The condo is a bit quirky - has a huge desk to work on, but zero power outlets within 20 feet of the desk. So while the place is nice, modern & stylish, it's obvious that no one has ever attempted to live there how things are set up right now.

This will likely be my go-to place to stay whenever possible
This apartment is huge and super cool. Very sleek and has a lot of storage space both in the closet near the bathroom and in the hallway. Lots of space for people to bring groceries in if you want to cook for yourselves. Convenient train located about a minute away walking (the green line). Dollar store right downstairs for snacks or other things you might need ( I had to get lotion and it was great to have this place here). The area is super hip and there were plenty of things to do nearby, or you could also just walk about 20 minutes to get into Notre-Dame street where there were endless shops and restaurants. The place was clean and access through the digital touch pad was easy to use. I would live here if I could!

Great location for the Canal area. Getting in was slightly glitchy at first but no problems after that. Nice space. Bed is quite firm - my wife loved it, me less so. We would definitely stay again
