Positive: Easy check-in (you have to wait for your check-in time literally -- which may not be ideal); excellent location, right next to the Peel subway station; very clean rooms and bathrooms; cozy rooms. Negative: There was some construction noise during our stay (early morning -- which is not ideal); for the price I would have expected breakfast to be included; would have liked to have a decent amount of coffee and tea provided for a 2-night stay for 4 people.

Convenient location, check-in instructions is easy to follow, the property was fully stocked as described, and the host is responsive. However, we were not satisfied with the cleanliness of the apartment when we arrived. There were greasy hand prints on the walls in the bedroom and kitchen, and the couch and shower needs a deep cleaning. The apartment overall could use some maintenance to fix some holes and scratches. One other point is that the curtains in the living room window does not provide much privacy as we could easily see inside from the courtyard which doesn't feel very comforting for a group of ladies, especially since theres another door in the bedroom open to an alley on the street level.

Negative: La procédure de chek'in en ligne très complexe, si vous ne maîtrisez pas Internet, vous ne vous en sortirez pas 😟 Dommage que l'on ne rencontre pas de vraies personnes. Le réglage difficile de la climatisation. Le canapé défoncé très inconfortable L'impossibilité d'ouvrir les fenêtres pour aérer, peut-être n'avons nous pas su nous y prendre ?(important pourtant en cette période post COVID) La difficulté pour se ravitailler dans ce quartier d'affaires, où l'on ne trouve que des magasins de luxe, des restaurants et des bars. Il y a bien quelques dépanneurs, pas toujours proches, très chers et mal achalandés.

Beware. 1. They require additional information on an outside website, including credit card deposit and picture of you and ID. 2. Getting into the place was a reverse escape room! Four doors, three independent passcoded locks, poor instructions… give yourself 10-15 minutes to figure it out. 3. Extremely loud. I was on the first floor. My bedroom window was a door that opened to downtown street level! 4. Smaller things: broken iron, no milk or whitener for coffee. 5. Expensive. First 1 star review I’ve given.

The apartment was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, which made for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The check-in instructions provided were clear and concise, which made the process seamless and stress-free. One of the highlights of my stay was the location of the apartment. It was situated in the heart of Downtown Montreal, which made it incredibly convenient to explore the city's many attractions and vibrant nightlife. There were also plenty of great restaurants and cafes within walking distance, which was a big plus. Great location, easy access, very small apartment but worked great for what we needed. Very comfortable beds, great kitchen but with so many good cafes and restaurants near by as well as the Art Gallery all in a few mins walk, we didn’t cook at home. The flat was lovely and warm - we found we were a bit too warm at night and slept with the doors to the bedrooms open. The space was cleverly used and we very much enjoyed our stay! Thank you so much!

We found the property quite easily with the instructions given however once inside the courtyard it was difficult to find the correct door in the dark, which lead to the apartment. The location of the apartment is really good given all of the places to eat and the nearby shopping which made our short stay in Montreal very time effective. There is a little convenience store only a few doors down which was perfect for picking up some bread, milk and wine. Please note that this apartment backs onto a carpark/alley which was noisy with rubbish pick up, large trucks coming and going and cars parking so bring some earplugs. You can also hear people talking and walking around in the apartment directly above which some people will find annoying.

overall mixed feelings of this place. It was clean, host was fairly nice. For 2 nights it was quite expensive compared to other places I’ve stayed all over canada. Not worth the price in my opinion. 5 star hotels had cheaper rooms . My biggest issue was the parking. If you have a car be ready to pay lots in parking, have trouble finding parking, especially 24/7 parking, and when you do find it, its quite the walk in the cold. Other tenants in apartment were pretty loud, garbage trucks or something making lots of noise at like 2-3 am both nights. No privacy due to the curtains being literally transparent. Not ideal on the first floor unit. Its a decent area, just not worth the price to me.

L’appartement est fidèle à la description. Il est bien placé dans le centre-ville de Montréal. L’accès est simple, le logement est très bien équipé, toutes les commodités sont présentes. Il y a un métro à proximité et tout peut se faire à pied, y compris quelques courses auprès de commerçants à quelques centaines de mètres. Nous avons donc été satisfaits de notre séjour. En revanche l’arrivée a été compliquée : deux heures de retard pour avoir les clés…tandis que le logement n’était pas très propre. C’est dommage, c’est la raison pour laquelle nous notons la prestation à 4/5 et pas 5/5.

Negative: Nous avons trouvé de la vaisselle sale ainsi qu'une étagère d'un frigo. Il n'y avait pas de torchon et une seule tablette pour le lave vaisselle. Malgré mon message je n'ai jamais eu de réponse. Il y avait un problème sur la colonne de douche qui fuyait par le haut selon la position choisie. Les grilles de ventilation/ Vmc était encrassées. Après avoir passé les deux premières portes a codes, celle de la porte de l'appartement était extrêmement long (9 chiffres)

Positive: The location is wonderful! Right in the heart of downtown. Everything is walking distance or a quick metro/bus ride. Fantastic location for a family to visit with college students in the area!! The apartment is well appointed and comfortable. Communication is easy with property management. The property feels secure, foyer keypad code opens to a lovely courtyard, another code for the apartment stairs, and then another code for actual apartment. Negative: The doors to the bedrooms and bathrooms are at angles to maximize space which makes going in and out of those rooms a bit awkward. Also in this 1st floor unit the bedroom windows look down onto a parking lot and to have privacy the blinds have to be pulled down. So you have to rely on room lights for lighting. Luckily they have nice lights in the rooms.

Larger beds than double would have been preferable, but not possible for the size of the bedrooms. The code entry procedure was efficient though had to be repeated every time you went in and out, and it was quite impersonal - we never met a host. Most of all, I was charged the full amount of the stay, not the deposit as advertised, when I made the reservation 6 weeks beforehand. Not cool. Would I go again? Yes, but I would be wary of the payment procedure.

Negative: l’appartement est très mal insonorisé, nous entendions chaque bruit de pas des voisins et on les entendait parler comme s’ils étaient dans la même salle que nous. le week-end, le bar à côté faisait aussi beaucoup de bruit, la semaine à été plus calme. la douche avait aussi quelques soucis, toutes les fonctionnalités ne marchaient pas.

Positive: Modern place, convenient to enter, the place has been renewed - although it is not in perfect condition. The location is ok, close to many restaurants. Negative: The place was not clean: hair, earrings, food crumbs were on the floor of the living room. Piece of broken glass in the entrance (don't walk barefoot), and the shower is leaking. The smell of cigarettes in the apartment is not pleasant. No soap dispenser in the shower, only shampoo and conditioner. Finally, when I asked the facility management to clean the place, they did not come. They came after 48 hours, and left the door unlocked, posing a risk for my stuff. Never again!!

Great location (in the middle of Downtown, near restaurants, and shopping), good decoration and clean. We came to visit McGill University and being our first time in Montreal, this was the ideal location. The unit can be loud, especially in the mornings, trash trucks etc and you can hear people walking in the unit above. Being on the ground floor, the unit is quite dark but there is plenty of good lighting to make up for it. We highly recommend it. We hope to be back and will stay there again.

This Airbnb is perfect for someone looking for a clean, safe, well located place directly downtown! The fact that you need multiple codes to get to the room itself makes for a very safe feeling overall. For the price, the location is amazing! It is a few minutes walk from anything you could need; a mall, a SAQ, a drugstore, a grocery store, great places to eat, etc. The Airbnb was also sparkling clean and had lots of extra towels, wash clothes, bedding, and pillows. The best location to stay for a short trip. 1 minute away from St.Catherine's street and metro is nearby. The until is really clean abd comfortable. The most inconvenience is a noise from the entrance door of building when someone opened and closed it.

The place was nice, however there were many unpleasant things that would not make me recommend or return. The couches were dirty and stained. There was a hole in the wall. There was dust on the night stands in the bedrooms. The lights in one of the bedrooms were burnt. Also, beware that there is a door hiding behind blinds in one of the bedrooms and it was unlocked throughout our whole stay because we did not expect a door to be behind curtains; very unsafe.

Misleading listing - noisy apartment
When deciding between two listings at this property, I choose 906 over another unit, thinking both were on the 9th floor. This was not the case, one was ground level and the other on the third floor. When I found out I was on the ground level, I asked to switch but I was told that my booking as last minute and it was too late (all this happened in a span of 2 hours). When arriving at the apartment, it was poorly cleaned, including still having underwear from a previous guest in the bathroom. Then nightly at about 2pm the restaurant next door would dump glass into a bin right outside followed by a daily 6:45 garbage truck pick up. As a bonus on our last night, there was an all-night party in a unit a few floors up and due to poor weather stripping around the door, both the noise and the smoke came into our unit. This unit was just not up to standard related to others items either such as no duvet covers, simply placing a duvet between two sheets, the electronic locks was in poor repair with no back up internal security locks, and the living room area (couch, rug, footstool) were gross and dirty. I ended up covering the couch with a blanket from one of the bedrooms just so we could use it. Last, but not least, only one wine glass was provided. I did not feel there was value for dollar here at all.

Stanley Court Apartments
The apartment was clean and recently renovated. The building is in a great Centre Ville location and is close to excellent restaurants and shopping. For me, it was also a convenient two walk block to the venue for the meetings I was attending and also a quick two block walk to the 747 YUL bus from and to the airport (get off at Rene Levesque and Peel). And... just a few steps to the Metro. I did have an issue where I forgot the courtyard entry code and even though there was a bit of a language barrier with the Simplissimo customer service rep, he got me sorted out. Now for the downside. The building is quiet but.... I was in Apartment 101 which is on the ground level and right next to the DeVille DinnerBar (good food there). There was a loud humming noise in one of the bedrooms coming from what I assume is equipment in the restaurant and the other bedroom has a door to the outside alley which often has garbage and delivery truck noise throughout the night. Also, the front room has a sheer see through drape which made me feel like I was on display. Not sure why there is no blind on that window like all the others (maybe not so important on the upper floors, but on the main floor a bit more important for privacy). Overall though it was good value and comfortable.

I've stayed in countless airbnbs in Montreal, this one definitely had the best location - especially for tourists. Right under the building there's a clothings stores, a brunch/diner with a patio and a gym. The place was clean and the host was easy to work with. Thank you!
