Very modern studio apartment style. Had great amenities and the bed was comfortable. Old town Montreal is an amazing place to be. 5 minute walk to Notre Dame Basilica and 10 minute walk to all of the shopping and restaurants.

Positive: - Loved the location and convenience. ~5 min walk to the metro system. Didn't feel like a regular hotel but more of your own apartment/loft - Many great cafes and restaurants nearby - Self check in was smooth and easy Staff was available to help via text/call promptly - Many towels provided - Large bed and warm - Enough cutlery and dishwasher detergent was provided Negative: - TV was absurdly slow for us, even after system optimizing. - Some soap scum at the bottom of our shower. - Alexa was in french and we didn't know how to change it to English

Great place! Stocked with all the necessities for cooking, laundry, and showering for a few days! Easy to get in and out and very nice ambiance and lighting inside. Bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed the nespresso! Right in the center of a very cute neighborhood with lots of great places to eat and shop!

This place is absolutely spectacular. Nestled in the heart of old Montreal, it is in the middle of it all. Cafes, restaurants, and shopping is literally at the doorstep. The space itself is breathtaking combining a modern feel and old world charm. The host was outstanding, communication was on point with frictionless check-in and checkout.

Positive: The location is so good. There is a really famous brunch place just 1 minute walk. I would say this room really exceed my expectation. It has everything I need and makes me feel like home. Very spacious place and easy to check in. I would definitely come back and recommend to my friend!!! Negative: The nearest complimentary storage close at 5 which is a little bit early for me. So I just leave my luggage in the train station instead. The hair dryer's wind is not strong enough so it takes longer time to dry my hair

De passage pour quelques jours à Montréal, j'ai passé un très bon séjour. Même sans personnel sur place, l'équipe est très réactive. Le loft 47 est super calme, bien conçu et très propre. Gros bémol : une sonnerie retentit 40 minutes avant le départ, et ensuite toutes les 5 minutes jusqu'à 11h. Impossible de prendre le dernier petit déjeuner tranquille, et une crise cardiaque lorsque les consignes enregistrées sont diffusées dans la chambre la première fois. Ça donne une impression "big brother" très désagréable. Dommage, parce que sinon c'était absolument parfait.

3 night stay - loved it
The only place I’ll be booking in future trips to MTL. Stayed for three nights, check in is a breeze through the app. Room had every amenity you’d need and the location is amazing. Steps away from downtown core and old montreal streets.

Positive: Loved the spacious loft style room, the kitchen facilities, easy self check in and the great location. Lots of different lighting options and plenty of outlets including USB ports close to the bed. Negative: The shower leaked a little onto the floor and it would be great if there was a toilet roll holder in the bathroom.

The "hotel" isn't a hotel which we didn't realize. There is no front desk or staff on site. There is an entry code for the front door and unit door, but safety seemed questionable, and there is no extra locks on the door. No parking, just street parking but a car was broken into across the street, and sex toys were found on the hotel steps, so location may be iffy. Otherwise location is amazing, great restaurants. Unit was generally clean except some towels provided were wet and one had a stain. Washroom isn't a room, the shower and tap are in the middle of the room and then a private toilet. Wasn't my favourite setup. Kitchen was alright, but only 3 forks, seemed odd, likely some have been removed and not restocked. Overall it wasn't a bad stay, just didn't really realize what we were walking into, and I probably wouldn't stay again.

Positive: The room was beautiful and the location was perfect, literally minutes away from amazing restaurants and things to do. We couldn’t have asked for a more better or more comfortable stay in Montreal. Negative: The entrance hallway has a very strange smell, like something musty being covered by perfume, but this is the entrance hallway, so obviously not spending a lot of time there.

Positive: The room was amazing. Spacious and comfortable. Large refrigerator and everything I needed to make a meal. Negative: I knew I was booking a self check in hotel, but I thought there would at least be a lobby. The entrance was a dark corridor that led to the elevator. The hallway to my room was also very dark. So dark that I couldn't find the keypad at first. When I called their phone number to get additional instructions, I was on hold for over 10 minutes. Luckily I arrived early afternoon. Had this been later at night, I would've been even more frustrated. The hotel's location is excellent, but like any big city, there were homeless in the area. Two of which happened to be hanging out at the steps next to the hotel's entrance. It would've been very easy for them to push they're way in once I opened the door. And since a key is not needed to access or use the elevators, someone could easily learn the code to get into the lobby and go to any floor they wanted. Because I was a single woman traveling alone, I made it a point to not return to my hotel after 5pm, which is when the homeless seemed to come around. I even found a needle a few steps from the entrance. The overall room was very clean. But on the last day, I went to put the toaster away and found tons of ants crawling under it. I hadn't even used it.

What an incredible experience! The location of the David hotel is in a very safe and trendy area with a million different restaurants, lounges, coffee shops and stores. So much to do and see. All within walking distance. The hotel itself was very clean and has the most incredible scent that you can’t get enough of. Modern finishes everywhere inside with incredible lighting. A perfect location near the Old Port and very easy to find. The hallways are creepy and kinda cool. The room was very spacious and comes with a Washer and Dryer (which I didn't think I'd need, until I did... ❤️). The perfect cozy get away!

I knew ahead of time this was a self check in hotel, but I didn’t realize there was no lobby. Upon entering the hotel with a code box, the entrance was dark and a bit scary. Especially after I saw several homeless sitting on the steps next door. I was traveling alone and it would’ve been easy for someone to follow me from behind and enter the hotel. The hallway to my room was so dark I couldn’t see the key entry pad to let myself into the room. I called the phone number they gave me for help and had to go through several menus followed by being out on hold. When I finally got in my room, I was pleasantly surprised. It was beautiful, spacious and very clean. However on the last day when I went to put the toaster away, I found tons of ants congregating under it. I have pictures that I intend to send to the hotel. And last, this could’ve been my error but I had no idea of how much fees were be charged in the end. The room was about $530 USD but with fees ended up being $700 USD.
