Notre arrivé dans cet appartement a très bien été. Par contre, il y avait une porte un peu étrange à l’arrière de l’appartement. Chose qui dès le départ ne nous rassurait pas.. Nous avons eu raison puisque nous nous sommes fait cambrioler la dernière journée de notre séjour. Cela fait bientôt 3 semaines que nous sommes parti et l’immeuble qui est truffé de caméra de surveillance n’ont toujours rien révélé sur la nature du cambriolage d’après le propriétaire. Après l’expérience traumatisante du cambriolage, c’est le parcours du combattant avec les assurances… Pour votre sécurité et votre temps je ne vous conseille pas l’appartement.

This condo/apartment was absolutely exactly what the pictures show. Traveling to Montreal for the first time - we knew nothing! I picked this condo because it looked "cute" However, OMG we were within walking distance to fabulous restaurants, the Underground City, the Metro, our Hop-On,Hop-Off tour..There is a convenience store at the entrance to the complex which was perfect to buy beer, lottery tickets and toilet paper. The best pizza is across the street. The best breakfast is two blocks away. I promise - You cannot go wrong booking this condo! It was perfect!

Excellent séjour à Montréal
Positive: Très beau logement au calme en plein centre de Montréal; la literie est excellente et l'appartement spacieux et très agréable. La situation de cet appartement est idéale pour la visite de la ville à deux pas de la station de métro Peel, au coeur d'un quartier animé. Negative: Les codes d'accès à l'immeuble et l'appartement ne nous ont pas été envoyés comme prévus le jour même à 15h par mail; comme notre avion a atterri le samedi à 20h15 et que les bureaux de Simplissimo étaient fermés, il a fallu joindre à notre arrivée, le numéro d'assistance; la personne en charge de l'appel a pu nous communiquer les codes; un petit coup de stress quand même ! Peu de magasins d'alimentation à proximité de l'appartement hormis de très petites épiceries ou dépanneurs; il faut prendre le métro pour trouver à 3 ou 4 stations des enseignes alimentaires dignes de ce nom.

Negative: Plusieurs choses : le nombre de vérifications très important et lourd (empreintes CB, photos du passeport, selfy avec son ID, versement de sécurité, attendre code chekc in ..), pour arriver à l'appartement pas moins que 3 codes, une vraie forteresse, le clou le 3 ème étage sans ascenseur avec les valises!! Vieil appartement rénové très vite fait, tellement moins joli que sur les photos, lit inconfortable, propreté : canapé très douteux, carreaux très sales, pas de pression dans la douche, immeuble très bruyant, je n'ai pas aimé cet appartement, ne vaut pas le prix élevé!!

Great apartment, great location
Positive: The apartment had everything so we could eat in, was comfortable to chill out in, and so close to everything you could pop back for lunch, and take a safe evening walk. We were also told there is luggage storage close by for anyone who has late flights, as they have no luggage storage on site. Also there are laundry facilities in the basement. Negative: The stairs there is no lift and we are both in our late 60’s so the stairs with our suitcases was a real struggle, it has made me be more aware to check in future.

Comfortable accommodation but not without issues!
Positive: The apartment was comfortable. Sitting area with sofa, table and two chairs, kitchenette. Negative: There were 3 entry codes to get in! And no staff - all done by email. Having said that Booking.com replied quickly to a problem with the laundry room. The machines don’t take coins - you have to download an app onto your mobile which can be difficult with UK mobiles. The air con wasn’t working properly so there was a free standing unit which was very noisy - I don’t know whether the intention is to get the in situ air con working. There was no recycling bin.

Great location to base yourself for Montreal but it’s a little tired
Positive: Location is fabulous and easy parking at underground lot virtually next door. Bed is very comfortable Flat is spacious and has all you need for a short stay - useful coffee pods and tea bags etc We knew there was no lift and the stairs are manageable, but it is on top floor ( 3) Negative: _The access is totally contactless and a slightly convoluted series of messages with door codes to access various parts. Irritatingly the door to our block was often left open. _Apartment is tired and needs a paint refresh and some general maintenance ( paint, bathroom shelving and tiling) _Cleaning not very thorough -air con is a battered mobile unit vented through a window. Very tatty . It is only in the living area and NOT the bedroom _ inner courtyard had an unsavoury character sitting in there from time to time, which given our block was left open was a bit worrying If Simplissimmo addressed the issues I’m sure their rating of this property would rise. We had a short stay but I would have been v disappointed if we were staying for longer . It’s location is it’s saving grace.

The grout in the bathroom was coming out and the overall apartment was tired. There was no luggage storage and the options available were closed on the weekends, which Simplissimo did not tell us.

Was expecting more for paying over $600/ night. Yes, there was a upcharge because it was Grand Prix weekend but we w

If you want a quite location this is not the place during Grand Prix weekend music is played until 3:00 am on neighbouring Peel St which didn’t bother us. Negative: Apartment was different than photos, was not fully cleaned when we arrived. There was a horrible odour that took hours to air out and the floor was sticky. Bathroom ceiling was wet with water damage and flaking paint. Staff contacted us by text and phone call after we had cleaned to offer a free cleaning but were too late since we had cleaned already. Staff sent us a link to apply for a refund and we were denied stating they offered a cleaning.

Disappointing - moved out after first night having found better for second night of 2-day stay
Positive: Location was OK - not to far from Central Station and close by Dorchester Squaqre. On arrival the smoke alarm in the apartment was beeping as if the battery was low (negative) - after sending text and calling the helpline, the problem was fixed that same evening (positive) - so good responsive customer service to address the problem on this occasion. Negative: Property is accessed from street (keycode lock) which leads into a dingy courtyard. Actual apartment block is accessed from courtyard (another keycode lock). Apartment was on 3rd floor, so hard work with heavy luggage. Access to apartment was another keycode lock (9 digits - not easy after a long journey!). Apartment cluttered with free standing aircon unit with exhaust duck taped to lower part of window to main living area. Only windows are from main living area looking into the dingy courtyard and a high window in the bedroom overlooking another building a few yards away, so the apartment itself was quite dark. Check in required pic of my passport (photo ID) and selfie of me holding up my photo ID to camera - felt a bit heavy handed but I guess this may be a necessary part of the process. In practice I found somewhere else to stay for the second night of our 2-day visit and took the financial hit.

Positive: Love that the location had three different codes for extra security. Although the units did not have AC they provided a little unit which helped a lot. The place was nice and quiet even with having a shared door with other people. They provided a few cleaning tools to allow us to clean which was helpful. Negative: After reading the reviews we were excited since everyone was saying such good things. Little did we know we would be very disappointed. Although they provided an AC unit it was not on before we arrived and the apartment was 29 degrees. It took 3 days for it to come down to 23.5 degrees with it being on the whole time. The couch had white stains on it. Not sure what they were and I guess I would prefer not to know. The listing had said they were taking extra health measures and sanitizing all the dishes but when we arrived there was food caked on many of them including the toaster making us not want to use everything. We then had to spend time scrubbing everything to clean the first day there. The shower barley worked. The water pressure was super low making it difficult to wash my long hair. The shower only had one temperature... scalding hot. When we contacted support about this they said that due to the holiday no one could come. The next day they sent someone but all she did was gather the same info we already gave and leave. She never came in and looked at the shower so we were still stuck with the hot, low pressure shower. The shower all had hair all over the wall, I am assuming from the last visitors, which I had to clean up and sanitize. On the ceiling in the shower there was water damage and the paint was peeling and chipping. The shelf above the toilet was falling out of the wall so we could not put anything on it. The fan in the bathroom had a very thick layer of dust. Thank goodness for the duster they provided as I could clean it myself but when I went to use the vacuum it did not work at all so we had to stay with dust bunnies on the floor. Honestly I am very disappointed from the service to the uncleanliness.

A hidden gem right in the middle of downtown Montreal

Positive: Living room, kitchen, bedroom, convenience store, train station all right there. Negative: No elevator, 3rd floor and that was not comfortable with luggage, but once I was settled it was fine.

Gorgeous apartment and excellent location. Bed was a bit too hard for my liking but it’s good if you like rock firm beds. There was a few times i needed to message the host such as when I was looking for toilet paper, but the host was unresponsive on the Airbnb app, so I had to search for a general help number for the company that owns the apartment. It would have been convenient to communicate with them on the app. Wouldn’t let this deter anyone though because it was a beautiful place and you can’t beat the location.

My wife and I had booked this space to stay in during our weekend away in February. First impression was that it was in a prime location and close to everything that we needed. However that quickly went downhill once we entered the unit. Unfortunately the space did not live up to our expectations and we could not stay there for a number of reasons. The host was contacted shortly after our arrival, and after a few phone/email exchanges he did agree to visit the space and assess the issues that we had. After his visit and a few hours he agree to give us a full refund. The host also acknowledged the fact that he was going to look into the concerns we had and try and fix them. Hopefully this space will be better for the next guests and the problems will be fixed.

It takes forever for hot water to come out, and check-in information is not very specific and I had very hard time trying to open the door to the place.

A good location but a dull apartment
The booking and checking-in process was very complicated. We received several SMS that looked like fraud and that had links that did not work. Then I had to download photos of myself with ID, then we had trouble actually finding where the apartment was in the courtyard. And there was no elevator (it was mentioned in Booking, but I had not noticed). The apartment was fine, not particularly well-decorated, very cold-looking (white and black decoration). The location, on the ogther hand, was very good. There is a bar downstairs, which might bring noise in summer, but in early March everything was quiet at night. Four days after checking out, I still have not received the refund for my deposit, even though we left the place in perfect condition.

Excellent downtown location
We stayed at the Stanley Court for 4 nights and would definitely go there again the next time we’re in Montreal. The building is very old but the appartment was recently renovated with new floors, updated bathroom and fresh paint throughout. It was also very clean (which is our main concern) and was comfortably furnished. The kitchen cupboards contained the basic necessities, glasses, plates etc. but we did not cook any meals except for making coffee in the morning so I can’t comment on the quality of the cookware. The location is fabulous if you want to be at the centre of the city… 5-7 minute walk to the Bell Centre and the shopping district.

Upon arriving we had to use three different codes to get to our apartment. I loved the extra security restricting who gets in. This part was definitely my fault as I did not read correctly but I give the apartment kudos for, there is no AC. When we first walked in it was 29 degrees inside the apartment. Thank goodness they provided a fan and a little AC unit so by the end of the three days we were able to get it down to 23.5 degrees. Now for the not so great... the couch had white stains all over it. Not sure what they were and do not think I want to know but a little gross. Under the extra health and safety measures it stated that "all plates, cutlery, glasses and other tableware have been sanitized" meanwhile many of our dishes and cookware had food caked onto it. We had to go through and wash everything we wanted to use before touching anything. In the bathroom the shelf on top of the toilet was falling out of the wall making it unusable. The shower... there was hair all over the wall I assume from the last visitors. The shower hardly worked, the pressure was a joke so I could not wash my hair the whole trip as it is long. There was only one temperature for the shower which was burning hot. When we contacted support for this we were told that it was a holiday so we would have to wait for the next day. The next day they sent someone but all she did was gather the info from us and leave. She did not come in and look at the shower so again we were stuck with low pressure and burning hot water. There was also water damage on the ceiling in the shower so the paint was chipping off. The fan in the bathroom had a thick layer of dust that had been building up for a while. After using the duster to clean it off I grabbed the vacuum and it did not work, leaving dust all over the floor. The bed only had 3 thin sheets with a thin quilt in between, no larger blanket. Was not impressed and will not be coming back to this apartment.

Highly Disappointed
The pics looked modern, clean & comfortable on the website. The people over the phones who assist you are extremely helpful and friendly! The suite itself was conveniently located to where I needed to go, necessities in the area are also convenient since it’s in the downtown area. The cons for me—too many access codes to have issues with (which I did), no actual human person to help you or advise you on the room or area. My room had no water pressure in the shower with ZERO hot water for my entire stay of 2 days. I was not able to shower. There was a weird door that was unlocked and led to a back hallway which was unsettling. It wasn’t hung properly so you could push/pull the door back and forth and it moved. Easily could’ve been broken into. No lock on the bedroom door either. Poor renovation quality throughout the suite. Cheap, and fixtures hanging on for dear life Temperature too warm in the suite and when I adjusted it on the thermostat it would always end up back where it was within minutes. No cooling came on. No elevator. 3rd floor and dragging my heavy suitcases upstairs with a bad wrist/forearm. Not ideal for people with a disability or physical challenge The unmistakable LOUD noises that woke me up several times coming from the alley was jarring! Garbage trucks, city services for the buildings in the area, not entirely sure but it was unbelievable. I sleep with ear plugs and take sleeping meds and I don’t wake easily. Between 3:15-4:45 am it was VERY disturbing! I could always hear the din of people talking on their phones or to others in their suites. One morning at 3:30 am while getting ready to catch my cab to airport I heard an entire conversation from my Neighbor which I did not care to hear. Poor privacy The bathroom light was burnt out over the bathroom sink where you need it most when getting ready in the dark. Couldn’t watch the tv in the bedroom which sucked. Overall not worth it one bit. Stay somewhere with services you will use.

- Never again, the room smelled like cigarettes when I walked in the windows were opened to clear the smell... - Neighbours were extremely loud couldn't fall asleep - They had a party in the block, people literally running around screaming with no masks!! Terrible experience
First of all, the internet didn’t work so I had to use the data on my phone to get some work done. Secondly, there was a party in your building in one of your rooms with about 20-30 people minimum drunk and super noisy until minimum 3am. During covid. You guys take the time to send messages and clearly indicate that there are to be no guests and you check your cameras and whatnot. Yet you let people have parties until 3 am when it’s clearly illegal. It was so noisy and bothersome that I didn’t even sleep there. I had to leave in the middle of the night and rent another room somewhere else. And on top of that it’s been a week and I haven’t even received my damage deposit back. Not only will I never go back to any of your establishments. I will make sure to tell everyone who asks how terrible my experience was.

Good overall
The location is as central as can be so I could walk everywhere I had to go. Just plan $50 for cab ride from airport but once you are there you can use the metro to get where you need and there is a station next door. The apartment itself is very clean and nicely decorated, though in a little bit of a rough shape. It was still very enjoyable to be in and felt very safe. I would definitely try to book this one again if I have to go to Montreal in the future.

Great location, clean and modern apartment
I'd never noticed this location before, though I must have passed in front of it a hundred times. Getting to the apartment requires going through several security keypads (so if you're worried about security, is very safe) and some suspicious surroundings, but the moment you step into the apartment, you feel like you've found a little gem. It's modern, bright, and clean. Tote got everything you need to live, cook, sleep, at a great price. The only downside is that I heard the distant echoes of bass guitar until about 4AM, but it didn't ruin my sleep. I definitely plan on going there again.

j'ai dû rentrer le code d'accès à l'immeuble plusieurs fois parce que le clavier de l'intercom ne fonctionnait pas correctement, j'ai bien cru que je dormirais dans la rue. Il n'y avait pas de numéro d'urgence ce samedi là en soirée pour pouvoir m'assister. Après plusieurs tentatives dans le froid hivernale, j'ai fini par pouvoir accéder à l'immeuble. Le chemin d'escalier jusqu'à l'appartement pourrait être rafraîchi, mais une belle surprise à l'intérieur du logement qui est vraiment beau, propre et spacieux. Conforme avec les photos. le lit était confortable.

Perfectly located and clean but up several flights of stairs....could be an issue, especially with luggage. And we’re were given one towel each. I think the cleaning crew got stingy. Bed was comfy but filled the whole room.

This place was amazing! Great location! Comfy bed! The only thing, the water pressure was so low that water barely came out of the shower head, and it took at least 10 minutes, no lie, to get warm water. I don’t think that the shower is normally like that, but I would for sure stay here again!

Comfortable stay
Place was nice, comfortable and easy to manage around as it wasn't too big. Perfect for someone on business or if your a couple touring the city. Need to keep more TP on hand and be a bit more clear as to what to use for internet access as there are 4 or 5 different ones to choose from, but otherwise I was happy with my stay. Thanks!

Perfect location for us Convenient to everything. Great food within walking distance. A convenient store at the entrance and next to that is the Metro entrance. Unit was very clean and updated nicely. We would definitely stay here again.

pour le prix ,un hotel 3 étoiles est préférable . on arrive ,le numéro du batiment n'était pas le bon,heureusement un ouvrier nous a dit de voir le batiment d'à coté et il nous a donné le code.il y avait des mauvaises herbes et des poubelles dans la cour comme si c'était à l'abandon .Dans le couloir pour monter à l'étage plein de déchets de chantier . Il fallait monter 3 étages avec 4 valises sans ascenseur .La porte de l'appartement était ouverte ,elle ne fermait pas ,le code ne servait à rien ,pour sortir on craignait pour nos bagages .Au rez de chaussée il y a un restaurant donc bruit et surtout l'odeur de cigarette et cuisine.nous n'avons pas pu visiter Montréal ,car nous avions peur pour nos bagages ,donc heureux de partir ,dites vous bien que si nous n'avions pas payé nous serions partis tout de suite .L'eau chaude il faut attendre 5 minutes pour l'avoir ,de plus le bouchon de la baignoire ne fermait pas .Le seul bon point ,l'emplacement dans Montréal .Premiere et derniere fois sur votre site Séjour très désagréable nous avons demandez à des voisins américains qui étaient très choqués aussi.Nous avons essayé de laver notre linge la machine n'a ni lavé ni rincé le linge juste trempé ,le linge était imbibé de lessive ,nous avons été obligé de sècher 2 heures .

What options are you looking for? Restaurants, shopping, museums, festivals, metro, simple shutterbug objects.... What romance the city and people offer as setting. Glad for the fan in the unit, could use a couple more or a window ac would have made it perfect. Didn't help we were there for the hottest weekend this far. Merci mon ami! Very stylish, close to downtown, too noisy for me
It’s a nice stylish flat, good facilities, but would really benefit from some kind of instruction booklet in the flat. There was nothing to tell me when the hot water was timed to come on or if I needed hot water how to turn it on or boost it. I had cold showers both days I stayed. The bar on the ground floor has expanded into the courtyard directly below flat and is very noisy from early on. When I stayed the opposite flat and below that was being completely stripped and rehabbed, which meant tool noise from very early and vibration/shaking in the flat. If you are a party person it may suit you as you may like the party noise and it is really close and well positioned just off st.catherine the main shopping street downtown.
