This property is superbly located in downtown Montreal. Actually you couldn’t get a better one. The apartment has been recently renovated and is in like new condition. The placement of the beds and baths are perfect for unrelated couples. Loved the beds and the kitchen is adequately appointed. The property management does indeed disclose that there is no elevator in the building and that it is a 4 story walk up -door to door. However, if you are NOT an athlete, young or run stairs regularly - think twice about this property - go climb 62 stairs …..and think you may do this more than twice a day before you reserve it. We are in our early 70’s with illusions of our fitness in when in our 40’s. We did it and are proud of it - but it was hard! Best of all is we had a nice place and had a blast in Montreal!

Overall a great experience, The area is in the heart of shopping and restaurant district. Close to everything. Metro 300 ft away, food, alcohol both beer and Saq. Only issue is for those who lack mobility we were on the 4th floor. So a bit of a hike to get suitcases up etc as there is no elevator. But like I said previous. Location, Location, Location.. is perfect.

We stood on the street and read the entry code instructions which were delivered exactly at check-in time of 3 PM. Since we had come from Europe, we had no roaming and had to go to a coffee shop to get the information. 2. Das Apartment ist im 4. Stock (mindestens 60 Treppenstufen). Eine wahre Herausforderung für zwei über 70-jährige mit Gepäck! The apartment is 4 floors up (at least 60 steps) -- a true challenge for 2 people over 70 with luggage. Since we were required to send our passport information, our age should have been apparent. 3. Im Schlafzimmer brummte 24 Stunden ein Gerät (über dem 4. Stock lag das Dach). Im Badezimmer vibrierten Decken und Wände.> In the bedroom a machine hummed day and night (the roof was directly over the apartment). The ceiling in the bathroom vibrated. 4. Im Schlafzimmer ist das Fenster kaputt. The window in the bedroom is broken. Und alle Fenster waren sehr schmutzig. All the windows were very dirty.

The 2 bedroom apt we rented was on the 4th floor. The window in one of the bedroom had broken glass with shards evident. The baseboards and trash cans were coated in grime and dust, the bathroom had personal (private?) hairs from a previous guest. The walls were scuffed with dirty marks thru out the entire apartment- lots of marks. Lots of dirty grimey finger prints on doors from handling them. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows were quite over stuffed so they gave every person in our party a poor nights sleep and a stiff neck. These are all very easy things to fix thru management of cleaners and maintenance. Should that be tended to, this would be a nice place to stay. As we were only booked for a single night, checked in at dinner time and were planning on spending our time in the city rather than d the apt, we chose not to pursue a request to be assigned another unit. The time that would have taken would made us miss dinner and ruined the entire point of our trip

Positive: L’emplacement est top. L’appartement est vraiment bien équipé. Un parking est dans la même rue pour 17€ les 24 heures. Negative: L’absence d’envoi des différents codes d’accès. Porte principale, porte d’accès à l’immeuble et porte de l’appartement. L’absence d’ascenseur. Heureusement que la personne d’astreinte au téléphone a su me donner quelques éléments pour pouvoir pénétrer dans l’appartement. La WIFI est faiblarde.

Stanley court was conveniently located downtown so close to Metro station and activities. Clean and comfortable apartment, 2full bathrooms made privacy great for 2 couples. WiFi and TV were in and out, but we were there for jazz festivals so no worries! I would love to return, hopefully not up 4 flights.

Positive: Fantastic location, and very well appointed apartment. The stairs were only awkward with getting our luggage in, then out. Negative: We had a lovely kitchen, but there were no oven-proof dishes to cook with. The rest of the kitchen equipment was adequate. I just wish we had booked for longer (this was our second stop in Montreal).

The apartment was really lovely and the furnishings were great. The kitchen however was not very well equipped with basic kitchen essentials (ex. no cooking knives, no sheet pan, no dutchoven or any other pan that could go in the oven). Otherwise everything else was great! The apartment was very clean and spacious. I would definitely recommend the Stanley Court Apartments for the convenient location and the confortable accommodations.

Positive: Très bon logement, très bien situé. Je vous conseille les appartements au 4ème étage. Il n'y a certes pas d'ascenseur, mais vous y serez tranquilles. On n'entend pas du tout le bruit de la ville. Logement bien équipé et spacieux, parfait pour 4. Il y avait du thé et du café sur place. Negative: Le seul point négatif et que dès que quelqu'un fermait la porte d'entrée au RDC, cela s'entend jusqu'en haut et fait un peu vibrer la porte d'entrée. Cela ne gêne pas dans les chambres heureusement. Mais il faudrait faire en sorte de ne pas faire claquer la porte d'entrée du bâtiment.

Positive: Excellent apartment, great location, well equipped, comfortable and overall a fantastic place to stay in Montreal, and would undoubtedly come back. Negative: There is a bar and restaurant downstairs. Our apartment was on the top floor and no issue for us, but for people on lower floors it could be noisy. That said, there was only any noise audible from the bar on the first night during the 9 nights we were there. On arrival, the cleaning could have been better. The bathrooms and bedrooms were spotless, but some things had been missed in the kitchen - there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher, the fridge dusty and the coffee machine dirty. Again, nothing major. Not an issue for us, but there's no lift and four floors to walk up. This could be clearer in the listing.

Appartement propre en général, draps blancs « propres », mais comportant des tâches permanentes et des poils/cheveux… J’ai dû demander de nouveaux draps et attendre 45 bonnes minutes avant d’aller au lit. J’ai dû écrire au support plusieurs fois, réponses rapides, mais sur la défensive et argumentative sur le fait que les draps n’étaient pas propres et que le lit était défoncé au centre (base de lit).

De la poudre aux yeux.
Positive: La localisation est parfaite. Negative: De la poudre aux yeux.. En arrivant, on est charmé par ce petit logement, à première vue bien équipé. Mais on s'aperçoit vite que le tout n'est qu'un leurre. L'aspirateur "fixé" au mur, ne tient pas. Les pieds centraux du lit n'ont pas été montés, donc on dort dans une cuvette, au risque de casser le couchage. Le sol tremble quand les voisins se déplacent chez eux. Il y a un gros problème d'insonorisation. Les voisins du haut, d'en face ainsi que près de la chambre, sont sans-gêne et manque totalement de respect. Quand vient le week-end, dès le vendredi soir 17h, il est littéralement impossible de fermer l'oeil à cause des soirées (alcool, beaucoup de monde, musique très forte, forte odeur Canabis) à répétition. Nous avons voulu nous plaindre auprès de l'organisme, mais il est marqué mot pour mot que si le bruit nous dérange, on doit appeler directement la Police, et que ce n'est pas leur responsabilité. En bref, nous repartons épuisés, et jamais nous ne reviendrons loger ici. Le seul et unique point positif de cet appartement, la localisation, qui est vraiment idéale. Je pense donc qu'ils en joues. Je recommande cet appartement pour un court séjour, en semaine seulement, si vous voulez dormir.

Unfortunately cigarette smoke kept coming into the flat, which made my stay there almost unbearable. There is a storage room which is shared with a neighbouring flat. The door to this room is locked, but not airtight (2cm gap at the bottom). The neighbour is a heavy smoker and seems to use this room for smoking. There were some other annoying things (slightly stained bed linens, non-clean dishes, 3 PIN codes needed to get into flat, firealarm going off at 7am), but overall "OK" given the fairly low price of the flat. However the smoke was a dealbreaker for me. If you're a smoker yourself, maybe this flat is OK for you. If not, stay away!

Though we didn't raise the issue we had with them, I know they would've quickly resolved the issues. The apartment is quite big (1 bedroom with a living room and full kitchen). On top it all, there were 2 TVs (1 in bedroom and 1 in living room) that both had Netflix, Youtube, etc! Would definitely recommend!

Unfortunately, we had a bad experience on our first night. There's a small room (about the size of a closet) that's off the kitchen and directly across from the bedroom. It's a shared room with another apartment. People were gathering in the room and smoking cigarettes / playing music until about 5AM on Saturday. It wouldn't be bad if it was a neighbouring apartment, but because it's a shared room it felt like it was happening right in the Airbnb. The cigarette smell hung around our bedroom all evening and into the morning. When I informed the host about this he simply told me to "call 911" if it happens again, which wasn't helpful. Other than not being able to sleep the first night we had a good time. The apartment location is excellent and it's very clean. Check in was a breeze.

Catherine and conveniently located right beside the Metro Subway which makes all attractions easily accessible. Yan's apartment was well-kept with modern finishes, perfect for a couple, in a secure building that truly made for a comfortable and stress-free stay!

Pros: Location: This unit is right in Downtown Montreal with easy access to the metro. Parking garage 1 minute walk from the unit. Security: This building has a locked front gate, locked building door, and the unit door. Design: The unit is aesthetically pleasing. Cons: Although the unit is very beautiful by the pictures, it felt like we were living in an Ikea showroom. The unit felt almost like it wasn't meant to be lived in. Good thing we didn't spend much time in it. The bedroom TV was not plugged in or setup. We had to find the cord to plug it in and then setup the TV. It also did not have Netflix setup, as listed in the amenities of the unit. Towels were brand new, and therefore not washed before. Every time we showered, we were then covered in white fuzz. When we arrived, the instructions left for things such as wifi, trash, etc. were for a different building. When we tried to contact the owner to get the wifi password, it took about 1.5 hours to get a hold of him. His voicemail is in French, which did not help. We confirmed with the owner an 11am check-out. At 10:15am, the cleaning company just walked in to the unit without knocking. No toilet paper or soap in the unit. Be prepared to provide your own typical toiletries that are generally provided. Overall, you could probably find a better unit for the price. Like mentioned before, this unit is beautiful in picture, but felt like an Ikea showroom that was not meant to be lived in. We were quite disappointed, but luckily there is plenty to do in Montreal where you don't have to spend much time in the unit.

Le monsieur a qui j’ai parlé au téléphone étais super gentil. L’appartement est vraiment super beau, confortable, bien sécurisé, bien situé et propre. Vraiment super👌👌 Petit bémols le plancher étais très collant partout probablement le produit nettoyant… Donc on a du gardé des chaussures. Et aussi juste mentionné qu’il n’y a pas de séchoir à cheveux, car ce fut un petit problème pour moi ☺️ La seul chose vraiment désagréable a été l’odeur du corridor des escalier qui s’entais très fort a toute heure du jour le canabis. Je sais que ses l’égal et peut-être hors votre contrôle🤷♀️ Mais le matin sa tombe sur le coeur 😜 😵💫 Pour nous sa sera sûrement la place à retourner Merci

Bien situé mais impossible de dormir...
De la poudre aux yeux.. En arrivant, on est charmé par ce petit logement, à première vue bien équipé. Mais on s'aperçoit vite que le tout n'est qu'un leurre. L'aspirateur "fixé" au mur, ne tient pas. Les pieds centraux du lit n'ont pas été montés, donc on dort dans une cuvette, au risque de casser le couchage. Le sol tremble quand les voisins se déplacent chez eux. Il y a un gros problème d'insonorisation. Les voisins du haut, d'en face ainsi que près de la chambre, sont sans-gêne et manque totalement de respect. Quand vient le week-end, dès le vendredi soir 17h, il est littéralement impossible de fermer l'oeil à cause des soirées (alcool, beaucoup de monde, musique très forte, forte odeur Canabis) à répétition. Nous avons voulu nous plaindre auprès de l'organisme, mais il est marqué mot pour mot que si le bruit nous dérange, on doit appeler directement la Police, et que ce n'est pas leur responsabilité. En bref, nous repartons épuisés, et jamais nous ne reviendrons loger ici. Le seul et unique point positif de cet appartement, la localisation, qui est vraiment idéale. Je pense donc qu'ils en joues. Je recommande cet appartement pour un court séjour, en semaine seulement, si vous voulez dormir.

Misleading and incomplete information
The place was nothing but an old house with “nice” deco, the location was good in the center of the city but everything else was not for what I paid for. Starting with the fact that the website I made the reservation has very different pictures of the Apartment, non of them where the one I visited, it was small, everything was like bad renovated. The check in process is inefficient and if you happen to be from outside of the us and Canada, the code by phone never arrives, and of course the support never answer as well. Prices are around the same of a good hotel, ill better check other options before this one.

No Elevator!
We rented a one bedroom apartment for our 3 day stay in Montreal. The apartment was small but it was clean and comfortable. When we rented I did not know we would be on the 3rd floor and I really did not think to ask if there was an elevator. This would not be a problem for someone younger with good working knees, but we are in our late 60’s and I have had a knee replacement. So for me, it was not fun going up and down 3 flights of stairs.

Here are notes I shared with property manager: I checked out of apartment 303 this morning. Toilet roll holder was off of wall (stowed under sink) when we arrived. We were happy with the location and inside of apartment was very clean. Instructions for entering were very clear. Things we were not happy about: Noise from diner/bar next door, especially happy hour under our bedroom window at back of restaurant. (loud voices and loud music) Would have appreciated more than just 2 bed pillows. The towels were all damp when we arrived. We needed to hang them up to dry them out. Why no washcloths?! And only shampoo for shower. Why no soap for shower? Tension bar for shower curtain needs adjusting so curtain hangs lower and inside shower. Current location makes water drip out onto floor/bathmat. Only 2 very small rolls of toilet paper for 4 days! The toilet seat was very loose so I tightened it. Wish we had known it was a 3rd floor walk up without elevator! The stairs were littered with the same papers all 4 days we were there.

Très bel appartement, spacieux, moderne, bien décoré et très propre. Quelques étagères de rangement pour les vêtement seraient bienvenues pour compléter l'immense dressing de la chambre. Petit bémol sur les parties communes assez négligées (coquilles d'oeuf restées sur la moquette de l'escalier une semaine entière, toujours là à notre départ), poubelles et dépotoir dans la cour. Dommage. Je recommande malgré cet appartement très pratique et confortable, qui nous a permis de passer un très bon séjour.

The apartment itself was satisfactory, but the pics make it look like a 9 when it is really a 7 on 10. There are problems and they start at the very begining. 1. There is a surprise charge of $70 for cleaning. $70!!!! WTF. If I wanted to almost double the cost if my stay I would have gone to a proper hotel. 2. Paranoid secondary booking by owners. Don't think it's over because you booked via Booking.com, oh no my friend, you need to send personal pics too. I almost most this fact and almost lost my booking. 3. Paranoid security. You need to jump through hoops to get the 3, yes 3 passwords to get to your room. 4. Disgusting court yard 5. Disgusting stairwell with stained carpets from the 80s 6. Noisy frat kids. All in all I would rate it a 6/10. There are better options out there, believe me.

Somewhat disappointing with the state of the apartment
First day lock wasn't working and it just get worst --- but I'm glad to say that on second or was it third day it was fixed. There was no coat rack to put coats on and also with the shoes would need some rack too. As a European I'm not used to keep shoes on corridor as some of the neighbors did. View - well not really view as you needed to keep blinders down to avoid neighbors for other buildings looking into apartment. Kitchen was ok, except the sink and the faucet -- faucet cap was loose so most of the time when trying to run some water you were left with the faucet cap on you hand. Stove was too scary for me to even try as some of the burners were loose. Bathroom was ok --- I bought more toilet paper as to rolls are not enough for two weeks, and the toilet paper holder is loose as well. My the way I saw some life there -- small black worm/snail looking thing was running on the floor. Neighbors were quite noisy on the last week. I woke up every morning with door banging or really heavy steps at 6 am. and I'd like to sleep till 7 am. (this is not a biggy but annoying) And there were more .... so this is the reason I'm giving Fair as review. You have lot to improve to make it excellent.
