Dirty and unfinished but close to metro.
Positive: Location was close to metro and in-suite amenities (laundry and kitchen) were a plus. Negative: There were random unfinished holes all throughout the suite! Hard to find the building as pictures online don’t show the current state of entrance. The couch had a stained cover and crumbs all over. The shower was dirty upon arrival. The pictures made it look much more glamorous and clean than it was. Additionally, the lobby and whole entry way is pretty shabby.

On a eu le formulaire que la veille, et on a besoin de réseau pour avoir les infos, pas pratique pour ceux qui n’ont pas de forfait ni de Wifi facilement. Great City Break
Positive: Massive apartment in a central area close to shops, restaurants, cafes and very close to a metro station. The apartment had everything we needed (and a bit more), the bed was comfortable and the shower was amazing. It was extremely cold when we were there but the heating worked perfectly. Very easy to alter up or down and the the whole apartment stayed warm and cosy. The helpline was only available between 9-5 pm which could have been a problem, but everyone that I spoke to or messaged was really helpful and friendly. Negative: The online check in and payment was a bit of a faff, especially coming from a different time zone

Positive: Le logement était très confortable, la douche était super et tout était conforme à la description. La situation géographique est super, très proche du centre et du métro. C'était très calme malgré que le quartier est bruyant et que ma chambre donnait sur la rue. Negative: Ce n'est pas spécialement un mauvais point mais tout est numérique : l'accès, le check-in, ... Une personne non habituée pourrait avoir du mal. Il est également nécessaire d'avoir de la 4G ou internet avant d'accéder pour avoir l'ensemble des différents codes. La connexion internet n'est pas bonne du tout. Pas de réponse lorsque j'ai contacté en message le service d'aide, mais réponse rapide lors d'un contact en mail.

An uninspiring apartment but in a good location

Excellent stay
The location is very convenient and lots of foods around the neighbourhood. Metro station is across the street. And the room is clean and equip with all the cooking materials for longer stays. The staff is friendly and response quick. It is a smooth check in and check out process. Will definitely consider again the next time visiting Montreal.

Apartment 506-Pierce Hotel
The apartment itself was clean and it’s the exception is the strong smoke smell in the washroom. The building is very run down and dingy-not the most comforting thing to see upon arrival. Location is great, central to everything. Overall, I wouldn’t stay again until due to the state of the building inside and out.

Strong smell of smoke
Apartment was cheap and in a decent location. But, it reeked of smoke in the unit and in the hallway. Smell of smoke was coming through the vents and was overwhelming, especially in the bathroom. Both TVs also did not work. They did not have cable and would disconnect from the internet every few minutes, making it impossible to watch Netflix or any show without being constantly interrupted and sometines would not re-connect after several attempts.

The room is not clean, all the windows are oily and covered with dust, the outlet of the air conditioner and heating is full of dust, the floor is very stained with soles when walking. I originally booked a room for 3 nights, the street is very noisy at night, and the sound insulation is poor. Because the corner is the fire station, I will hear the siren of fire trucks and the loud noise of pedestrians in the street all night. On the first day of the morning, I heard the big construction drilling wall before 7am. Noise, no way to rest well. on the second night there was a water leak in the room, and a large blister appeared on the top of the bed room. After contacting the hotel management, it took a full hour to come to our room, but in the end, because the hotel was full and the room was temporarily safe, they did not arrange another room or hotel for us, only said that someone would contact us the next day. We just can left. In the end, we had to find the hotel to move in by ourselves at more than 12 o'clock in the morning. On the second day until 11:00 noon, there was no phone call from any hotel staff. In the end, I called myself to ask how to solve it. A very bad trip experience, very poor customer service, all problems to be solved by themselves. 100% not recommended

It started leaking around 5 in the morning and created a pool on the bathroom floor; parts of the ceiling also fell onto the floor. We requested a partial refund but it has been taking them quite some time to handle the situation. I would not stay here again. The security level within the building may be questionable to some.

Positive: The location is great, and the apartment spacious in all rooms including the bathroom. Nice and simply decorated with lovely polished concrete floors. The bed is large, and have lovely linen. Negative: Whilst the check-in worked, it was a bit traumatic as having an overseas phone meant that we needed good wifi to register, and get all the checkin details as we could not do this in advance. Upon arrival the apartment had not been cleaned properly. There was hair on the floor, food and debris in the fridge, and the glasses and crockery were smeary and not clean. The managing agents however rectified this the next day with a full clean - it was just disappointing to be faced with this on arrival. The shelving in the wardrobe was broken, and never fixed on our 4 day stay despite notifying the agents. The TV in the lounge did not work for 2 days and on the 3rd day an engineer finally came to fix the issue. The sofas are obviously dated and are now covered with an ill-fitting nasty nylon cover. Possibly outside of their control but the foyer to the towerblock is not inviting at all and the lifts smell. THe windows look like they have not been cleaned in years and are actually difficult to see through.

Positive: Apartment in itself was fine. Had decent washer and dryer. Negative: Terrible stay. Completely inpersonal experience, check in, check out, issues all dealt with over email and phone. The apartment itself was very dusty and the duvet had no cover but just a sheet either side. The windows were filthy from the outside and you actually had to keep the blinds down it was that bad. There is no key to apartment only a code, which didnt work for us the second night. We got responded to once we called the number but it was incredibly inconvenient. To top it all off, the place isnt in the nicest area and one morning we had to pass through the lobby and lift which was covered in urine from what appeared to be homeless people nearby and it was not cleaned up by the time we left at around 9.30am. Overall, terrible stay and we regret it in hindsight the cheap price should have been a red flag.

Aussi il est indiqué que l’hôtel dispose un parking, mais nous ne l’avons jamais trouvé, et les nombreux appels passé à l’établissement n’ont servis à rien car jamais de réponse. L’entrée du hall était aussi très salle, beaucoup de détritus, et les clients ne portent pas leur masque.

We enjoyed our stay in this clean and well-located apartment. Most appliances were in working order except the shower which had a temperature knob that was difficult to adjust and only seemed to put out hot water. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the nice size of the bedroom, bathroom and living room. Be aware that the wi-fi is in inconsistent, and we had problems on Netflix and our phones. There is a bit of a lack of air circulation as we could not open the windows and there is no fan in the washroom. Lastly, not sure why, but the inside of the fridge had a very unpleasant smell. Looked very clean, but for whatever reason it didn’t smell too great. All in all, this apartment was a nice space in a great location and it was a comfortable stay that we definitely enjoyed.

Great Winter Break
Excellent place to stay for a great price. I would definitely stay here again. Location wasn’t a problem at all. You are next to a university, so like any city things could be a bit loud on the streets. The only issue was the dirty outside windows, which is only a problem if you don’t go outside. Very much enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

It was a great experience. Everything you need is in the apartment. Close to the subway, markets and shops. Very happy about my apartment. Maybe another bag trash would have been great and a tea towel. I recommend this apartment.

Nice apartment, good location, bad shower
On the whole I had a good experience in the Pierce Hotel. The apartment is roomy and well equipped. The bed was comfortable. The apartment was quiet and felt safe. The only problems were with the shower. The first night it would only give extremely hot water. The next day a plumber was sent and mostly fixed it. But the worse problem was that the floor of the shower was extremely slippery! Even standing still my feet would start to slide out from underneath me. I was very close to falling. I wrote to the management, asking for a bath mat or some kind of help, but was told they would not provide a mat. They are really lucky that nobody has fallen in that shower, because it was bad. If not for the shower, I enjoyed my visit at the Pierce and would recommend it.

our stay at 506 Pierce Hotel
The room was excellent. Ok the check-in was not 100% ok, as the doorcode was not provided, but the quality of the hotel was perfect. Also the situation was ideal: not too far away from nice restaurants and shopping. For people that don't know the situation it should be good to know that the hotel is situated on a one-way street and that several parking spaces are nearby. There is no parking garage under the building. Fully equipped apartment, king size bed, modern light bathroom, complete kitchen..... perfect for a long weekend Montreal

Do not let the exterior of the building or lobby fool you- the apartment is quite nice. Perhaps some renovations ( or the sloppy weather) were happening while I was there, but the exterior and lobby had me slightly worrying about what I would find when I got to the room. Once I opened the door my worry disappeared. It does have a washer and dryer ( added bonus!) and there is a convenience store 10 steps out side of the front door of the building. Company always checked in with me to see if everything was going ok and if I needed anything. Location is perfect, lots around to walk to and nicely located for Uber rides ( get on on the corner of the convenient store, though!) Would for sure recommend to others and rent again for myself.

Great location
Great location, great apartment with lots of space. Solid possibilities to cook and wash in the apartment. Could have been a little more clean upon check-in. Check worked wonderful with both email and instructions via text message. A very good stay overall.
