Great place to stay
Positive: I recently stayed in this apartment for three weeks with my sister, and overall, it was a positive experience. The 1-bedroom layout provided ample space, and the closet was particularly handy for organizing clothes. The shower had excellent water pressure, and the inclusion of a hair dryer, liquid soap and shampoo made settling in easy. The bed and linens were comfortable, and the presence of a functional dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer enhanced convenience. I appreciated the thoughtful addition of a closet at the entrance for coats and shoes, along with a well-equipped kitchen. The two smart TVs allowed us to log in to our streaming accounts seamlessly. The apartment's location near a metro station, pharmacies, grocery stores, and restaurants was a definite plus. The heater worked efficiently, ensuring a cozy stay. However, the retractable broom and dustpan provided were not as effective for cleaning, leaving room for improvement in that area. One unique aspect to note is the well-painted floor. While not tiled, wooden, or carpeted, it is advisable to have good socks or comfortable slippers during the winter season. Despite the minor cleaning tool issue, the overall experience was positive, and the apartment met our needs for a comfortable and functional stay. La chambre était entièrement rénovée et très bien équipée. L’hôtel est idéalement placé non loin du mont Royal et desservi par le métro et les bus. Des dépanneurs h24 sont à moins de 100 mètres. Attention, la procédure de check-in inclut un selfie avec son ID et une garantie bancaire de 300€ 48 heures avant, sinon pas d’accès.

The location is great, and the place is clean and comfortable. A minor thing is that the effort to get into the apartment is a bit cumbersome (you have to enter a security code in 4 different keypads to get to the apartment.) I am not sure if that is a must have because of security. The final apartment door code is a random 9 digits, probably better to be changed to a renters phone number. That said, I don’t see that as an issue to stop someone from getting a unit here.

Positive: The location is great if one has to be at Concordia university. Lots of Asian restaurants really close by and next to a metro stop. Possible to walk to many sights. In principle the apartment is well furnished with everything you needed for a working stay. BUT … (see below) Negative: The maintenance state of building and apartments is really bad. The first one we checked into had paint peeling off the walls and the kitchen island, the chairs and couch were ripped, a lamp broken, and the windows coverings frayed and not closing. Next day we got a better apartment on the freshly renovated second floor (the other one was fifth floor). Much better but still: the internet didn’t work on three separate days. The airco is so incredibly loud that one cannot keep it on. The windows can be opened, but there are homeless people shouting at night or student parties. We got woken up by noise at night also three times. Even with the airco off, the basic airflow system of the building is super noisy, so among all of this we had some of the worst nights of our life. There is nobody in the building, we had to resolve whatever issues we could via a telephone only. And the office is closed after 19:00 … This is nowhere near the short stay solution for professionals they are advertising. It’s a rundown student building. The price is outrageous.
