Positive: la localisation parfaite. Sécuritaire. Negative: L'appartement est un peu mal entretenu. La peinture est défraichie et les meubles sont usés. Les électros ménagers date d'une autre époque. Les stores sont très sales. Dans le coridor des fumeurs et cela se faisait sentir dans l'appartement. Très désagréable et ils étaient bruyants. Les fenêtres sont hyper sales. L'appartement a besoin de beaucoup d'amour pour le mettre à jour en 2024. Les joints de la céramique dans la salle de bain sont disparus. Poussière et fil d'araignée au planfond. Les murs avaient des traces de réparation et des marques de valises qui ont frottés. Les planchers flottants sont hyper usés par le lavage à grand eau.

We loved the location but there were many things not stated online that was extremely disappointing. It is a bit ridiculous to only have 2 rolls of toilet paper for 4 people for 3 nights and not having enough coffee pods for that many people. Coffee mate would be nice to provide also. There is no mention that the washer and dryer is not in your unit and you have to pay it. Also no mention of elevator for 4 flights of stairs with luggages is extremely difficult especially for elderly and people with mobility issues. That would be a difference of renting your apt.

Full of unpleasant surprises that could have been very costly if I had missed my flight or luggage
Positive: The apartment is spacious, with two bedrooms and a living room, inside, it is comfortable and cozy The location is very good, a 15-minute walk from the train station, I read some reviews mentioning that it was noisy due to a nearby bar, but in my case, I couldn't hear anything. Due to certain circumstances, I requierd some medicines to be sent by packaging that required refrigeration. The host kindly wrapped them in thermal paper to ensure they stayed cool during shipping. Negative: The checkin time is stated as 15:00, but I just received the access code after contacting them at 17:44 (after 18:00 the only response I received on their WhatsApp was an automated message saying that their office hours are from 9:00 to 18:00). This meant that I was only 16 minutes away from not being able to reach them and possibly being left without access. In contrast, in other accommodations I always received the access codes early in the morning the day before. Just because my access code was activated 3 hours after the checkin. The same thing happened during the check-out. The official checkout time was at 11:00 AM, but at 6:20 AM, the access code stopped working. As a result, I couldn't retrieve the rest of my belongings (including medication that the host refused to cover the shipping cost for) All I received was an automated response stating that their office hours were from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Later on, I was sent screenshots that confirmed that the code was indeed not working, as it wasn't used until the next check-in (the next tenant at 3 PM). I almost missed my flight because the code was deactivated 5 hours before checkout. My trip was not just to Montreal, I was visiting several cities without access to a computer and with limited time. Just 24 hours before checkin, was sent to me a link to make a security deposit without prior notice. If I hadn't seen coincidentally my email, would I have lost my reservation and payment? I looked for all the apartments for my trip with a kitchenette and a washing machine, but here there is no washing machine. There is a laundry room in the building next door that has an additional cost, so have to go outside and stay there to do laundry. In the other accommodations, the washing machine was always inside the apartment and, of course, at no extra cost. In the questions, it says there is no elevator, but it is not mentioned in the description.

The place is in need of some TLC (nick on the walls, burnt light bulbs, missing caulking in the shower). It was also noisy at night/early morning mainly due to the bars and construction nearby. We requested an early check-in and had some issues with wifi throughout our stay, but the host was always very responsive.

**Unpleasant Experience, Proceed with Caution** I recently stayed at this Airbnb apartment and wanted to share my experience to help others make an informed decision. Overall, the apartment itself was in good condition, but there were significant issues that made our stay very unpleasant. Firstly, the sofa in the living room was in terrible shape and desperately needs to be replaced. It was uncomfortable and worn out, making it difficult to relax. Secondly, I want to issue a serious warning to anyone planning to drive their personal vehicle to this location. Upon arrival to the police department, the police informed me and my family that the area is notorious for car thefts. Unfortunately, my car was stolen during our stay. I would also like to point out that we were told to leave the premises while we were waiting for the police. We informed the caucasian woman of our situation. A lovely, well appointed, centrally located apartment to explore downtown Montreal from.
Positive: It’s superb central location in Montreal. My wife and I are recreational walkers and we were easily able to explore on foot everything we wanted to see. Negative: Although not that big a deal, having open a series of 3 keypunch codes ever day we came back to the apartment was a bit different than all the other rentals we’ve had. And, for folks with questionable balance or less fitness, the 7 short flights of stairs would a definite impediment since there is no elevator to reach this 4th floor apartment.

This spot is in a great location! Right next to the Peel metro and tons to see and do in a walkable distance. There was coffee and tea on-site which was nice but not enough for 4 people for 2 days (which would have been better but it was a nice touch either way). Access was easy and instructions were clear. There was no flexibility with check-in / out which was a bit disappointing but they offered a discount on baggage storage which was appreciated given the lack of flexibility. The Airbnb generally was a bit tired and not as clean as I would expect from an Airbnb managed by a professional group. It needs some paint touch up tidying. The bathroom wasn’t very clean (shower was really scummy), one of the beds was clean and the other was questionable… we also found some remnants of previous guests in the unit (toothpicks), which was pretty gross? I have a hard time deciding whether the location was a worthwhile trade off for the things that were lacking.n

We enjoyed our stay at Stanley Court, kitchen was fully equipped with dishwasher. Rooms were clean and other guests seemed to have enjoyed their stay. There are no elevators, not good for seniors, if we stay again I would ASK for 1st or maybe 2nd level. Seemed secure as there were three levels of pass codes. Overall enjoyable stay.

De plus le ménage n'est pas fait correctement, photo à l'appui (canapé très sale. Sous le lit très des moutons de poussière, derrière la télé,.... ) Pas de bagagerie. Une à 30mn à pied...mais assez douteuse. Et les chambre bruyante car à côté d un compresseur froid sur le toit en face. Au 4eme étage sans ascenseur alors que nous étions en famille dont 1 enfant en bas âge. (Pourtant bien signalé lors de notre réservation)

Excellent location in the center of the city and quite comfortable. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to Montreal. There was a parking garage next door that we used to drop our car over the weekend and walked everywhere conveniently. The apartment is well equipped and had all basic amenities required. I will definitely reconsider if we are in the area again.

This is a nice apartment in a good location. It’s small (room size, bathroom, and living area). It’s up 4 flights up stairs without an elevator. The apartment seemed newly renovated and had all necessary appliances, pots and pans, towels, etc. The checkin process was easy but odd when I was asked for a photo of my ID, which I felt was a privacy concern. They ended up letting me black out certain information on my ID. The information says there’s some free street parking, which is a bit deceiving. Because the location is central, any free street parking is typically maximum one hour. We parked at a parkade nearby which was $25 a day.

The process to get in was rather extra, as other reviews had said - and actually, you have to wait to complete the various steps, and get the check-in information only when you are actually there - which means you need a phone plan that works in Canada, and you need to be accessible in the days leading up to your arrival to upload the photos they want _when_ they want. But everything was very clean, and there was plenty of toilet paper and towels, which was nice. Each bed did take up ALL of its little room, which surprised me, and the kitchen was minimally stocked (just two tea bags, a few coffee pods, salt and pepper). Still, it's a real place, not a scam, with a responsive host, and it's a very convenient and comfortable place to sleep. Thank you for hosting!

Positive: The location was excellent - really handy for the Metro and buses. And right in the heart of the shopping and eating district downtown. The apartment was warm, and pretty well appointed. The beds comfy and plenty of towels. Negative: The wi-fi didn't work for days which was really annoying. This affected the TV too. The company eventually sorted it out, but the signal was still weak and erratic. The particular apartment we rented was on the fourth floor - there's no lift and some quite tough stairs. I'd recommend you check that out before you go in case that's a problem for you. And we were subjected to a party in another apartment in the block on the Saturday night which was horrendous until the night manager came to sort things out after we complained. This was only one night thankfully. Some cleaning stuff in the flat would have been helpful too.

Positive: There is no doubt that the location is unbeatable, especially if you're shopping. Metro close by and walking anywhere is a breeze. The two-bedroom is clean, well equipped and beds are super comfortable. The customer service, notably Gaetan and Laura is next to none and they go out of their way to ensure comfort. You're not going to get a better deal for the price. Negative: Stairs to the apartment a tad challenging for me with a bad knee.

Der Montreal-Besuch war, auch dank der zentralen Lage des Apartments, ein großartiges Erlebnis.
Positive: Die Lage des Apartments war sehr zentral. Gut vom Flughafen aus mit dem Bus zu erreichen und für Sightseeing in Montreal optimal. Die Ausstattung war zweckmäßig, sauber und in gutem Zustand. Sie entsprach aber nicht den Bildern im Buchungsportal. Negative: Das Apartment befindet sich in der vierten Etage und das Haus besitzt keinen Aufzug. Das Gepäck eines längeren Kanada-Urlaubs in das Apartment zu tragen war sehr mühsam.

Gemütliches, großes Apartment in zentraler Lage - Leider nicht für Behinderte geeignet.
Positive: Die Lage war zentral, so das man fast alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichen konnte. Montreal hat uns sehr gefallen. Gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten aber auch schöne Parks. Die Unterkunft liegt in einem schönen Innenhof. Das Haus ist ein renovierungsbedürftiger Altbau. Die Unterkunft selbst verfügte über 2 Schlafzimmer einem ausreichend großem Badezimmer und einem gemütlichen Wohn- und Küchenbereich. Die Sauberkeit entsprach der anderer Unterkünfte, welche wir auf unserer Reise gebucht hatten. Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft wohl und sicher aufgehoben gefühlt. Negative: Um in das Apartment zu gelangen benötigt man 3 unterschiedliche Codes. Einen für die Tür zum Innenhof, einen für die Haustür des Hauses in dem das Apartment liegt und einen für die Wohnungstür. Die beiden Codes für die Tür zum Innenhof und für die Haustüre sind jeweils 4stellig und unkompliziert. Der Code für die Wohnungstüre ist 8stellig und wir haben uns oft vertippt. Das ist etwas ärgerlich und sollte etwas einfacher sein. Unser Apartment war im 4. Obergeschoss und das Haus verfügt über keinen Lift und so war bei der An- und Abreise mit einigem Gepäck einiges an Anstrengung nötig. Der Hausflur war offensichtlich länger nicht mehr gereinigt und entsprechend schmutzig. Das sollte dringend geändert werden. Ansonsten ist aber nichts zu beanstanden und wir können dieses Apartment gerne weiterempfehlen.

I would highly recommend this apartment. It’s location is about as central as it gets. The apartment itself was clean and very quiet, despite being located in the heart of downtown Montreal. Check-in was also a breeze. I would definitely stay here again.

Anastasia and Alex's apartment is an excellent location! 4 minute walk to Rue Sherbrooke (Maison Boloud & Museum of Fine Art), Rue St. Catherine (great shopping), the underground mall, and the Metro (Peel Station). It is a great value for the price, considering it's central location that is also a quick train or uber ride to the Old Port/Notre Dame. The apartment itself- a 2 bedroom/1 bath is bright & clean, very modern, with tv's in every room, netflix/hulu/amazon, stylish decor and very comfortable beds. Both were very responsive and available via text or phone. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and will be back to visit in the Spring. I highly recommend their place! Thank you for everything.

This apartment was above the normally high standard of Airbnb. It was new, sparkling with everything one might need. Communication with the hosts was excellent. They mention in their description that stairs are unavoidable and for most people they were fine but for anyone with serious knee or hip problems the stairs might be daunting -apartment well worth the climb. The rooms are perfectly located for entertainment, shopping, dining and the metro. Can't go wrong!

Place is newly renovated, sparkly clean, great location and the response is immediate. Only cons are a funky and not so clean entrance and a 4th floor walk-up. A big suitcase might be a problem...but we had a lovely stay and I would definitely book this place again. It was perfect for our week long business trip!

Le logement est conforme au photos. Deco et fonctionnel, il est très bien situé avec tous les commerces à proximité. C’est un logement agréable ou je retournerais. A noter cependant qu’il est au 4ème étage sans ascenseur et que les partis communes de l’immeuble sont sales.

Absolutely perfect location!
We stayed at the apartments for 1 week. The location was perfect; there was a TON of shopping and food choices around us and we had a very quick access to the metro. As for the apartment itself, it was well furnished and the checkin/checkout process was handled incredibly well. I want to give it 4.5 stars, but this app won't do that. The only thing preventing 5 stars is that fact that we did not know we would be on the 4th floor; that was a LONG climb with luggage! Absolutely recommended for your stay in Montreal!

Overall a great stay, and location! close to a metro station which made it very easy to get places. Place was relatively clean and easy to find. Was supplied with not many things such as plates cups and toilet paper, but overall enjoyed our stay here & recommend!

Overall the place is really nice and well situated. The amenities are good too. It was a great location close to the Simon mall which connects to different underground malls. There was construction going on in the apartment when we were there so it was hard to get good rest and the place often smelled like smoke maybe from downstairs apartment.

Weekend Stay
Reservation system and notification was great! Appartment is in a great location and decent size (there were four of us adults + a toddler). Only a few minor things to mention, we wern't able to use the dish washer because there were no soap pods. We ran out of toilett paper (there were only two rolls in the appartment). Luckily we brought our own coffee because the bottle we found in the cupboard was empty. All-in-all, we enjoyed our stay and would book there again despite the minor issues.

We had an okay stay in the apartment, the major issue we found was that the bedding was not clean enough, I found few hair strands on our bedsheet which looked like it was not cleaned properly. Also, we had arrived with our parents, they had issues while climbing the stairs to fourth floor. We were not told before that this particular apartment did not have a lift. Since, it was our only one night stay and this was in the heart of downtown, we did not bother much.

This apartment was not at all what we expected from the photos. First, there’s no elevator. Something that was it mentioned in description. It’s a long way up to drag heavy luggage four flights of stairs. Secondly, there was a foul smell when we first entered the apartment. It smelled like cigarettes and mildew. I instantly emailed the contact person, Alex, asking is we could get a refund if we left immediately. He responded. Y asking for pictures of the smell??? And lastly, the worst of it all, when we pulled the sheets off to get in bed, there were small black hairs on the sheets. Disgusting. Thankfully it was only for one night. Worst experience ever. Will never use this company again.

Great location, convenient, all you need for a short trip
We had a very pleasant stay in Apt. 401. Stanley Apartments are located in Downtown, convenient to places of interest, restaurants, coffee shops, metro. We walked everywhere and took Uber to Olympic Park and Planetarium one day (even that distance could be walkable - just over an hour walk, if time allows). The apartment was a good size for 3 (parents and one 11 year old boy). It was warm, good water pressure and comfy (on the firm side) beds. WiFi worked well. We got a good exercise going up to our floor :) - we did not mind that at all. The towels were not dried as some reviews said, probably because quick turn around between guests, but I hang then in the bathroom and turned up a heat there, so they were dry when we got back after dinner couple hours later. The office was easy to communicate - we reached out a few day in advance, completed verification process and got check in instructions and codes the day of arrival. Overall it was a great choice for our purposes. And we appreciated couple water bottles in the fridge at arrival - we payed forward by leaving a few new water bottles on departure. We would recommend this place. Thank you! Merci!

Rooms are beautiful; comfortable and Clean! You are right downtown in the middle of everything and walking distance to everything. Lots of bus runs nearby and subway around the corner!

Excellent room in a central location
The room and amenities were excellent. Great place to call home in the middle of downtown Montreal. Other guests in the building were noisy, but a quick note to property management helped to solve the problem.

Our stay of one night on Stanley St. in Montreal was beyond any Airbnb I've used before and I've stayed at many. It was very recently refurbished. Everything new, clean and sparkling. It was fully equipped and very comfortable - 2 bedrooms/3 televisions!! The price was an excellent value. Despite being in the heart of downtown close to businesses, cafes and shopping it was very quiet. The only disadvantage were some stairs not suitable for bad knees or hips and very large suitcases. The hosts were not present but very welcoming and immediately accessible by phone.

perfect location for downtown, brand renovated apartment
We had a great stay at Stanley Court. The apartment is newly renovated and very nice. Great beds, bathrooms and kitchen appalancies. It had everything we needed although we had to call the owner abut getting more toilet paper and paper towel. The only bad thing is that it is a 4th stories walk up so if you have a big suitcase it's not ideal. I had a carry-on and it was fine. entrance and stairs are a bit funcky and not so clean but the aprtment itself was shiny and so well kept. Overall it was a very good experience and I would definetely book this apt again
