I loved my stay! My first room was beautiful but the fridge started to leak so they put us in a different room and loved that loft as well. It’s very open loft good for 2ppl without kids.

If a millennial bro decided to run a hotel
Positive: It was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The location was great. Negative: The apartment's design leaves much to be desired. The room is very dark, with very little natural light coming through. There's zero privacy: neither the shower nor the sink are in the bathroom, but in the middle of the room, and the shower glass is see-through! (I guess we should be grateful that at least the toilet was behind closed doors). All of this together, coupled with the gray concrete floors, gives off a "bachelor's pad" vibe, which is really not our style. As other guests have noted, there's also a strong sense of stinginess: we were given only four coffee pods and 2 dishwasher detergent pods for a 4-night stay, with guests expected to pay for any additional supplies needed. The heating was very inconsistent, randomly switching from hot to cold. To make matters worse, the vents carry strong smell of cooking from other apartments, and the loud footsteps at night are so disruptive that, to a light sleeper such as myself, earplugs become a necessity. There was a day when the building hallways reeked of weed, but luckily the smell didn't get into our apartment. We give it an 8 for cleanliness, the bed, and the amenities (washer/dryer, iron, ironing board, fridge, stove and utensils) but we will not be returning to this apartment.

Keine Rezeption, keine üblichen Hotelservices, nicht einmal ein Getränkeautomat. Eher als AirBnB zu werten. Einrichtung ist nicht in allen Aspekten durchdacht: Kein Rasierspiegel, Nasszelle direkt neben Bett, sodass es fast zwangsläufig nasse Füsse gibt, Waschbecken mitten im Raum ohne Ablage, kein Klopapierhalter

Funky and fun but not functional
Positive: When booking make sure you understand there is no reception, all registration is done online and you can't drop off luggage if arriving early. Room #27 was large/funky and fun but not functional. Kitchen fully equipped, (no breakfast on site) but we didn't use it and went out for meals. Bathroom deconstructed ... transparent shower, separate from toilet (private) and sink in the middle of the room. Appreciated water/coffee provided. Location was good to old town and had bars/restaurants close by. Negative: Bathroom - deconstructed. No place to hang towels near sink or shower. No mirror near sink for shaving or drying hair. Don't like to shower in "public" with transparent shower. Room is not intuitive - too funky for our tastes. TV plenty of streaming movies but couldn't get current TV news/stations. Did not like online registration and verification of ID. Did not like entering hotel and room with a code. There is a fee if you would like to arrive 2 hours earlier than the 3pm check-in time.

Molto bello
Positive: La posizione é eccellente. Semplice e sicuro l’ingresso sia alla struttura che al loft. Molto spazioso e curato nei particolari molto accattivante lo stile industriale con cui hanno ristrutturato il vecchio edificio in pieno centro. Pulito e dotato di tutti i servizi per cucinare in autonomia, doccia veramente fantastica con ottima dotazione di asciugamani e accappatoio, un po’ meno comodo, anche se molto scenografico, il bel lavabo da centro stanza per lavare le mani dove non c’è modo di appoggiare un asciugamano. Estremamente silenzioso da apprezzare anche le zone di passaggio comuni pulite e sempre profumate, molto discreta la presenza di una persona di Front Office utile in caso di necessità. Molti parcheggi a pagamento sono comodi e vicini. Negative: Poco curata la zona wc. Per un posto del genere, non economico, un solo paio di ciabatte di cortesia per due ospiti mi sembra una caduta di stile. Consiglio di tenere conto della cauzione da 500 CAD che viene richiesta obbligatoriamente prima del check-in che grava sul plafond della carta di credito.

honestly great stay overall, such amazing price for the space! and the vibes are emaculate, very modern and spacious.

An original place to stay
We appreciated the original style and modern decoration of the suite. The bed is very comfortable, the spaces very large. The sink without a mirror doesn't seem very practical to me. I think it lacks a sofa or a couple of comfortable armchairs, as well as a desk for working with the computer.

Positive: Very nice creative design hotel. There is no employees on site but access is easy. The design of the common area and the room is really special and not everyone will like it. I loved it and the cool factor is way up there. Negative: The real downside for me is the pricing. It looks very cheap at around 150$ a night but you have multiple charges like cleaning at 80$ a night that is not advertised. So I paid around 270$ for one night and I don't think it's worth it. If you are staying multiple nights and only pay once the cleaning fee then it's reasonably price. What really made that I won't go back is when I realized that I didn't carefully read the small print, I tried to canceled within 5 minutes and it was almost automatically declined. That is very short term thinking and not somewhere I want to do business with.

Positive: We did not receive a breakfast? The bed an pillows were Heaven on earth. The room itself was so Zen and relaxing. Exactly what we needed. The design was definitely well thought and very appreciated. The location was perfect we walked from the central train station and walked over 20 km in 2 days. Negative: That we cant get the name of the matress and pillows...we so desperately could use them at this point in our lives at home. We work stressful jobs and after 30 years we need to use any tool possible to help relax :) it was the most peaceful environment to decompress.

The apartment was spacious, comfortable and very well set up with everything I needed. Negative: It would be good to post the general rules on the booking website as I was travelling with my bike to race in the Montreal triathlon and had to make very last minute arrangements for it to be stored elsewhere due to bikes not being allowed on the property at all.

Exceptionally clean and modern accommodation within a great location in Old Montreal.
Positive: It was the first time I had to check in online without dealing with any people in person. The hotel doesn't have a reception and everything works digitally. Everything was done via e-mail and sms. I must say that the process was very effective and we found it fairly easy. Negative: There is no parking at the hotel and Montreal itself has very limited parking. This should be considered when travelling to Old Montreal itself. The hotel did inform us about it. We did manage to find a paid open parking lot close to the hotel and were lucky enough to find a parking spot for the weekend.

Stylish and Comfy
Walking distance go everywhere, I found a underground parking 12mins walk away from the hotel, there are two parkings 1-2mins walk from the hotel but some reviews said that cars are smashed overnight. The room look exactly the same as the photos showing on the listing, very comfy bed, cleaning fee was very high $80CAD, not sure will the few drop a bit after the pandemic. I will definitely go back again.

grim decor but ran smoothly and close to the conference center
I soon came to find all the faux concrete grim and oppressive, especially on rainy days. It made me not want to go back to the hotel. But everything ran smoothly. The appliances worked, the door code worked, I always had hot water, I had no need to communicate with the hotel. It was nice to have a fridge, and an oven for heating up leftovers. And it was an easy walk to the Palais des Congres.

Beautiful accommodation within an excellent location
My wife and I had a great weekend staying at the David Hotel. It is an exceptionally modern, beautiful and clean hotel room, while the self-catering kitchen is fully stocked with everything you might need. The hotel is also perfectly located within walking distance from everything you might want to visit in Old Montreal.
