  7. Fun and likely not to return!

    Positive: The property was clean, comfortable and in a great location. Negative: The property indicated that parking in parking lots and on street around the hotel was recommended. We parked in a lot less than a block from the hotel and our vehicle was broken into. The parking lot attendant said it happens all the time especially to cars with foreign plates. He said we should have parked in an underground lot. We spent the morning at the police department and finding ways to clean up all the glass and finding a temporary fix for the window so we could get home. In the process we forfeited a tour we had scheduled. We called the hotel and explained the situation. They apologized for the lack of important information and indicated they were going to look into some sort of compensation. We have heard nothing!!

  8. It was great, I really loved my stay!

    Positive: I loved that all the tools/facilities you could ever want were there - kettle, washing machine + dryer, dishwasher, toaster, microwave, fridge + freezer, plates + cutlery, kitchen towels. Plenty of towels, clothes hangers, storage. It was all clean and the whole place smelled nice. Negative: It was perhaps a little dusty in places but really nothing major.

    Positive: Very stylish, luxurious and comfortable accommodation in a brilliant location and yet so quiet - didn’t hear a thing at night time and the bed was so comfortable! Negative: A bit more space around the bathroom sink area for toiletries would have been useful. Other than that, couldn’t fault anything!

  24. Weekend Getaway!

    The David Hotel was amazing, especially with its price and excellent location, steps from the old town area of Montreal. The customer service is top-tier! The location, amenities, cleanliness, size, and everything important when staying at a hotel were on point at the David Hotel. The Studio Loft suite is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need which just made our overall stay so much easier and less costly. We will definitely be visiting again!

    We enjoyed our stayed in Montreal since David hotel was giving us the peace and comfort we were looking for. Big size room, decorated very modern, big kitchen, all details are taken with care, clean , very responsive staff (on phone and text and email, especially Merry) and very safe place. Walking distance to all attractions and restaurants and night life. We had wonderful vacation.

  27. Good for a longer stay - less so for overnight. But it's a very comfortable andwell fitted out base.

    Positive: Classed as a hotel, it's really an apartment so better for a week or longer rather than an overnight stop. The apartment is very well fitted out and would really suit a longer stay. All in one studio room includes a comfortable bed and good linen. Negative: The entirely remote check in/check out experience is a little strange including the payment system outside the booking.com system. As everything comes via your phone you do need to ensure your data plan is working - otherwise you'll need to stop at a nearby coffee bar to borrow the wifi before you can get in. Parking is not that close.

  28. Amazing, unique, and great location.

    Positive: This place was amazing!! I stayed for work but I wish it had been a longer personal trip based on how amazing the hotel room was. The room had so many additional features that you would get in a standard hotel - washer/dryer, fridge, freezer, whole kitchen island. I loved the lighting too - different zoned lighting that could be turned up and down to create a nice ambiance. It was in such a convenient location too - I was able to walk to my place of work, and walk to Old Montreal very easily. I would 100% stay again and recommend to anyone. Negative: It could have been made clearer on the pre check-in email that the reason for all of the information required was because they didn't have a front desk. I'm not used to completing so much information prior to a check-in.

    Positive: very modern and fully functional room. Clean and just perfect ! my wife and I agreed this is one of the best rooms we stayed in. Negative: the hallways is pretty dark. the passcode was a bit confusing the first time getting in. and you are not allow to check in a minute early.

  40. It was great and we would definitely stay here again if we were to return to Montreal for any reason

    Positive: I like that you don't have to check in at a front desk, and you just show up to your room with a code. As others have said the code could be a little shorter, but it's fine, it's also true that the shower is visible from the room so if that was something that bothers you, might not be the place for you but we didn't care at all. It was a nice shower and nice kitchen area and really very nice, nice location. I see why they have such an excellent rating. Negative: The view isn't great, you just look at another building, it was the end of December so there wasn't a ton of light, but that's just Montreal in the winter.

    Positive: Emplacement central dans le vieux Montréal; logement très bien équipé (cuisine très bien équipée). Café, thé, sucre, huile, sel et poivre à disposition. Paquet de spaghettis et sauce tomate mis à disposition et délicieux. Beaucoup de rangements disponibles. Negative: comme il n'y a pas de réception, il n'est pas possible de laisser ses valises dans un endroit protégé le jour du départ.
