Decent stay for me which would have been good or very good if there was better parking and strong internet.
Positive: The layout of the loft, comfortable bed, plenty of towels. The sheets and towels were very clean. The location was close to shopping, entertainment and restaurants. Excellent physical security. Check in and check out instructions were very good. Negative: The internet was unstable so it was not able to meet my needs. After being told by the property that the internet was working and that my internet credentials were the issue, the property acknowledged that they were having problems and were only able to fix it for a short time. There was little to no parking near the property. The street parking rules were confusing and meters did not work with my credit card reliably. I received a $91 parking ticket as a result. The unit was not very clean had dusty surfaces and had a cobwebs.

Positive: The bed and bedding was exceptionally comfortable. The large shower with shower heads on both ends was really nice, although the pressure in the far end was low. The location was great, close to restaurants and the grocery store, downtown and only an 8 minute walk to the Metro. The kitchen was beautiful with everything we needed. Washer and dryer was handy and detergent supplied. We couldn't figure out how to mirror our device to the living room TV, but we discovered someone's Netflix hooked up to it named Cass, who really likes romantic comedies, so we watched a fun romantic comedy :-) Negative: Pressure in far end of shower.

Excellent location, walking distance to pretty well everything we did all weekend. Very clean space as well. Only possible complaint as others have mentioned was the amount of homeless outside the unit, however they were harmless. It was our second time staying in this unit and I'm definitely not opposed to booking again in the future.

Positive: Decor was stylish and we had everything we required Negative: We were told the outside gate would be locked in the evenings but it was only locked the first evening we arrived and the neighbourhood didn’t feel safe as we also encountered a man outside our gate that cursed at us in passing. The unit itself was not cleaned well, we found cobwebs around the tv and debris on the tufted part of couch.

The unit in itself has a super chic, classy, and sophisticated vibe/interior to it. The location of the unit was also super close by to local restaurants, bars, convenience stores and extremely walkable to many places! Location was close enough for us to walk to most places. Quick responses when I had questions. Accommodated an early check in for us. A little bit of a hiccup with actually getting into the building but answered the call first time and we were in within a minute or two. Lots of homeless around the building but they weren't much of a bother at all.

Very disappointing
Broken fridge. TV in bedroom non-functional. Had to throw food out since we had no working fridge. Support offered: turn devices on and off, that should fix the problem. It did not. Laughable. We booked this apartment because it had a full kitchen (allegedly). With the fridge being broken, this point was moot. Still awaiting a response about my request for a 50% refund after speaking with multiple reps and filling out forms. There was nothing 'simple' in dealing with Simplissimmo.

Amazing would definitely book again.
Positive: The loft was beautiful and FULL of amenities like pots, pans, cooking/eating utensils, salt, pepper, oil, sponge & dish rack as well as having a dishwasher with soap I could go on (more than you would get at a hotel in my opinion). The loft was spacious and wonderful decorated. Looks just like the pictures of not better. The loft is also located right by the grocery store, there is a 24 hour convenience store steps away, food places all around in walking distance very convenient. Negative: The only downfall is the homeless people there are quite a few but they are harmless. When they ask for money and you say no they leave you alone. The loft is secure as well, after I believe 11PM or 12 PM the gate is closed for more security.

Mixed blessing
Lofts are spacious, well designed and the kitchen well equipped. Showers and beds are top notch. The concept is a good one with significant appeal, if managed well. Could be an ideal residence for a week’s stay. While neighborhood to the south is lovely (I used to live there), Avenue du Parc itself is challenging and sad as it has become a homeless refuge, with some abusive and aggressive behavior from what appears to be a largely indigenous population. Not the fault of the property, but will be a significant issue for some, My stay was compromised by malfunctioning equipment and subsequent relocation to another unit. While staff were helpful with no one on site coordination was burdensome. Requests for some adjustment to charges have to date been ignored, thus compromising any value to choosing to stay here, since one night was ruined and a good portion of the second was taken dealing with the equipment failure. Perhaps a hotel would be a better option for a short stay.

I do have mobility impairment and need easy parking access on site at the hotels I choose to stay at. When I obtained confirmation after making the reservation, it was indicated that there is no on site parking and it would have to be either street parking or in a parking lot elsewhere. That was very disappointing. Especially when cancelation was not available. I suggest that this is corrected as it is misleading to those like myself.

A great value for space in a wonderful location.
Positive: The lofts are beautiful. And the loft was a great space for value, and is in a very central area of the city. Like any major city- travellers should keep in mind there is homelessness and drug use right outside the front door. Many mornings there were needles and beer bottles, but coming from Vancouver where the opioid crisis has hit hard this was not a bother for us. Just for travellers to keep in mind if they are not accustomed to this type of activity. The beds were very comfy and having a kitchen was ideal. Only a 20 minute walk from all the best parts of the city and Old Montreal. Negative: The lofts could do well with a thorough deep clean. I imagine with turnover the cleaners do not have enough time to truly deep clean the showers and kitchen.

I was disappointed here - showed up on time and the place had yet to be cleaned, reaching the building managers was tough and on the third night my code was changed and they never sent it, so i was locked out. Listing said toiletries would be there but there we none. Also lots and lots of homeless people outside this place so be prepared to deal with that

This place has everything you need to call it home while you traveling. Little touches here and there make your stay comfortable. Check-in and check-out was smooth and a free parking was provided which is a plus. Consider having ear-plugs if you are sensitive to noise as the walls are thin. Otherwise, expect nothing less than perfect from your stay.

We both really enjoyed our stay. Seamless check-in and check-out procedures and a great central location handy for downtown, old port, the plateau and the village. There are a few rough edge to the loft. We couldn't get the TV to work, a chrome cast would at least have allowed us to beam from our phones, a sound system wouldn't go amiss, and a few basics (dishwasher tablets, laundry detergent) would save unnessecary expense) as would making sure that the shampoo, shower gel dispenerers were full. Only one of the two showers was fully operational but since we were only two it didnt make a difference. It would be useful to provide Nespresso coffee pods if providintg a Nespresso machine. But these are minor quibbles. Overall a lovely loft in a great location. Would be hard to find anything better I think for our budget

Yan’s apartment was clean, stylish and exactly as expected based on the description and photos. Yan helped us find a great parking spot where we felt safe leaving our car, for $25 cad/day. The apartment is situated in a nice location, very close to the contemporary art museum, but quite a bit of a walk to many of the restaurants and sites we wanted to go to. Overall, a great stay and would definitely stay again!

There are few places in Montreal with this high quality of sound and tv setup . The double shower was enticing; the kitchen is well appointed and the building is quiet. I enjoy the modern sleek apartment over the homey rug-bound lived in feel of a place -- this is a great apartment for those of us who enjoy lofts and location over the pillows, sofas and locked cupboards of owner occupied apartments. Having nearby two great supermarkets, all-night restaurants, student-life, a great gym and a short walk to Place-des-Arts makes this one of the best picks in the city.

Overall, my experience at the Hotel du Parc was positive. The apartment was exactly as pictured, if not better. The double showerhead system is absolutely amazing. I am a bit of a neat freak, so I did notice some things that could have been cleaner: there were bread crumbs left on top of the toaster; the bathroom sinks/shower could have used a more thorough scrubbing (but whatever dirt I found was minor, really); and the toilet paper roll there was a partial roll -- I'm being really nitpicky here, but I think for hygiene reasons, they should have tossed the partial roll and replaced it with a new one. The staff was kind enough to let me do an early check-in, as I had an early flight arriving in Montreal, and to leave my luggage in the apartment until 2pm on the day of my checkout, which was helpful. Communication was mostly speedy. I'm not sure the Airbnb account is monitored by staff other than Yan himself. Yan responded to my messages usually within the hour, but on the day of my arrival, he didn't respond for hours. Luckily, I used the number he had provided and reached another member of Simplissimo, who told me that it was Yan's day off. On my last night staying at the apartment, there were some very loud and potentially drunk guests lingering in the hallway. They probaby left to go out at 12am, but returned at 2am and hung out around 4am. They disturbed my sleep because I could hear everything happening in the hallways from inside the apartment. I didn't think anyone would respond, but I sent an email to the Simplissimo help address at 4am, and received a response within 20 minutes. The other guests subsided shortly after 4am anyway, so the email didn't necessarily help the situation, but had I known the response would be swift, I would have complained a lot earlier. Simplissimo was kind enough to offer a 50% discount on the first night of my stay on my next visit.

This unit was well located and great for a couple exploring Montreal. Yan keeps the unit very clean and tidy; a minimalist's haven. The building was a little noisy during our weekend stay, due to fun-loving neighbours. Yan responded well to queries and check in and out were a breeze thanks to door and unit codes.

Beautiful place but there is an issue
The place was spotless, very modern and cool vibe in the unit. Massive bed and amazing shower. However, a prominent issue was evidently the Large amounts of homeless people surrounding the apartment building, it’s not just on that street, the homeless were right in front of our door as we entered the apartment . On top of this, my girlfriend and I heard someone try to enter our unit at 3 am, our unit could have been mistaken for another room, nonetheless it was extremely frightening. Overall, homeless and area brings the value of place down to three stars in our experience

Nice apartment and a great experience overall. Everything went really smoothly with no issues. Not to be insensitive, but the only issue was the homeless would crowd the entrance to the building at night causing issues to enter the building. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Absolutely stunning!
We got in to town late... After wandering around for a while trying to find the entrance, my girlfriend and I followed the instructions written on the email, found our loft and when we opened the door....... We fell in love with the space! Incredible design, all the amenities you could ever need and in a location that was close to everything we wanted to do over the weekend! No doubt that if we head back to Montreal, we'll definitely be staying there again!!! The place is 🔥

I really loved this place, it was very nice and modern, however there were several amenities that were listed in the booking but not available. For example - There are two tvs in the location. One is in front of the bed, this one does not work at all. It turns on, but it has no connection to any cable tv or tv applications or anything, so it's useless unless you bring your own cable box (who does that). The second tv in the living room has one channel, CNN. The TV doesn't allow you to switch channels at all. It's really annoying. Also, this place has no free parking, which is what it claims in the listing. there is free street parking during certain overnight hours, but there is certainly no free parking as part of this hotel. You can reserve a $25 dollar a night space in advance no less than 2 days in advance, which sucks because nobody tells you that till you get there. otherwise the place was nice, clean, modern, and i LOVED LOVED LOVED the shower heads

Nice room, service needs improvement
My wife and I were visiting Montreal to celebrate our anniversary and we booked months in advance. Loved the design and the location of the suite (close to shops, restaurants, attractions, etc.). Nice amenities and clean, modern lines. However, we didn't receive check in instructions until an hour before check in. There is no front desk so that meant we had to begin our travel from out of town without being 100% sure how or if we could get in to our room. When we did get them, the code to get into the building was incorrect and we had to call the office for the right one. If we had arrived after the office closed... Room had several damage/maintenance issues including non-functioning light bulbs, a broken shower handle, a hole in the wall (from an apparent kick?), cable box blocking the fireplace, rendering it unusable, to name a few, which we reported immediately. We were assured that a maintenance tech would pay us a visit the next day. They never arrived. We were there for 7 nights so they had ample opportunity. A little more attention from the management and this place has the potential to be great.

Neat spot
The administration was quite accommodating to us after a computer glitch interrupted our original reservation. We were quite thankful for that! The space was very modern, which we liked, but a few things could be improved for future guests! The toilet paper roll was half finished when we arrived and there were no extras anywhere. (We also found a few dead flies on the floor in the bathroom, and the shampoo dispenser in the shower was pretty much empty). The dishwasher was full of clean dishes, yet we were expected to not leave any dirty dishes in the apartment, so It would have been nice for cleaning staff to unload the dishwasher before we arrived. (Especially since we only stayed one night!) That said, none of those things were major by any means, and we only mention them as feedback in regards to potential improvements for future guests! We still enjoyed our experience! Thanks!

The lofts are beautiful!!!!! However, the tv in the bedroom was not connecting to the bale = did not work.. the towels were not soft and definitely not enough for a 3 night - 4 day stay. I would have appreciated more toilette paper...
